NYR, LAK, NSH, DET, etc -- any of them would work. Just ask Jagr...

“If Wayne Gretzky got traded, anybody can be traded,” said Jagr.

“Whatever management wants to do, they’ll do. Might be good for them, might be good for (Hemsky),” said Jagr. “He’s got talent.

“Maybe if he went to a different team it would like a new start. Maybe he gets 100 points. He’s that skilled,” said Jagr, who played with Hemsky on the 2006 Czech Republic Olympic team in Turin, Italy.

Depends on cost. Sounds like he is over valued so I would like them to pass.
Maybe we should give them Fraser and a 7th

Unless the Oilers are willing to accept just a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him AFTER we don't get Nash, sure.

ANything more than that and the Oilers can keep the man of glass.

LA and Edmonton have made a lot of trades over the last few years (Visnovsky, Penner, Smyth).

Assuming Smyth-gate didn't ruin their professional relationship, I think Hemsky ends up there.

Gawd no, i hope not but DL is desperate. The way LA is playing that pick could end up being top ten.

Lombardi's negotiations consisted of "YOU ****ING OWE US", as Penner sat with his head down softly sobbing.

The Oilers might get a roster player from the Kings for Hemsky, but not a 1st round pick. Penner was unfortunately still signed for a year, so that's why a 1st went for him.

But adding a soon to be UFA offensive player who's having a bad year to a mentally fragile team having a potentially historically bad offensive season for a 1st round pick that might be a top 10 if things keep going the way they've been going? I'm not one that says Lombardi should be fired yesterday, but if he did that deal, he should be fired yesterday.

I'd take Penner and a 1st for Hemsky. Mostly because I think we could re-sign him for cheap and we know he works as a decent top six winger in Edmonton's system. Oh, and its a first.

I'd almost take Penner back if it meant getting full value for Hemmer.

Lombardi is seriously going to make a trade for another Oiler?

You wont be a contender picking up players from Edmonton and coaches from Calgary...

1st for Hemsky is too much. I htnk Penner still has some value. Like a 7th rounder and a pint of beer.

Making a trade with us is one thing. Trading for a guy with an injury history like Hemsky is another.

The way Hemsky has turned his game around, I don't think that a 1st is too much. I wouldn't add anything of value to the 1st. If its less than a first, a good prospect has to come back, and LA isn't really in the position to be trading theirs.

Were not even going to make the playoffs but keep believing the media crap. Were always the go to destination for every player but it never happens. We don't want Hemsky. Keep him or deal him elsewhere let us sell on our own.
