Umm...4-0-0, 1.00 GAA and a .970 save percentage isn't anything special?
No offense, but the team plays the way it does because it has confidence in Anderson. Plus he stickhandles like a mofo.
Sorry, Anderson is a HUGE loss. Lehner may or may not pan out but we have to remember that he's been struggling in Bingo.
The last 3 games the team has been lights out. Just like Anderson's GAA and Save % to start the year was more of a reflection of the team so are his stats now. Anderson goes as the Sens go for the most part.
It's not as grave as you or anyone else is making it out to be.
If this happened at the begining of the year then yah, there might be some validity to the panic... right now? A loss for sure, life or death, no chance. The Sens are a good team no matter who is in nets and Lehner is probably ready for this anyways.
He was scheduled to be signing autographs at Jim Keay Lincoln Mercury in Orleans at 6:30 this evening. Some one out there, get there and report back immediately, via smart phone if possible!!

Now this wouldn't be a sneaky way to get more Sens fans to the car dealership would it....i mean car salesmen do have a reputation...
4-6 weeks means he could be back a little bit before the playoffs, right? If they can't call Lehner up to cover for Anderson for a month and a half then why the hell did they sign him to an ELC this soon?
A panic trade for some underperforming goalie would be pretty stupid IMO. Call up Lehner, hope for the best, and don't waste a good prospect on Giguere or someone awful out of desperation.
