Been talked almost every 2 weeks, Boston won't trade Krejci and he is the only piece that makes sense for Bobby. So go ahead and close this before it turns ugly.

I was kind enough to add the outline of your proposal to the title - the fact that your proposal, as indiciated in the prefix, would include a trade was rather obvious.

This, whole point of getting bobby would to be to play him with krejci and lucic. Problem there is that leaves nothing in the way of acquiring bobby. The two fan bases won't agree on value. Let's move along.

Actually, last night Krejci looked pretty good on the wing - and almost more importantly - Kelly played excellent on that 1st line. If Kelly would be willing to sign an extension, you've got Kelly/Bergeron/Peverley/Campbell down the middle, which I would be happy with. Also have Seguin as a natural C, so that gives the B's some flexibility (say if Kelly after an extended period shows he doesn't really belong on the top line).

Peverley is coming back in a few weeks, but Horton *possibly* could be shut down for the year. If that's the case, dishing Krejci for Ryan makes absolute sense.

Don't let 1 game fool you. Kelly is career bottom 6er. A great guy to have on your team, but let's not get carried away. The Krejci on the wing was a great short term jolt that the team needed, but he'll be back at C by playoff time.

If the idea was to have the most skilled C on the 1st line, Bergeron would be on there. Fact is though, the lines are being treated like 1a/1b/1c/4th. Not exactly (lot of variables there), but my point is that the talent is being spread across multiple scoring lines to make them all more effective.

Only 1 game is not enough of a sample size to be sure, but if over time we felt that our Centre position is well taken-care of, Anaheim could use a skilled playmaker to fall in line behind Getzlaf - and the Bruins would benefit from a winger more suited to scoring goals.

I would think it through, but only if we knew Horton wasn't coming back for sure. Krejci is huge for us during the playoffs, might not be the best idea.

No chance both Krejci and Hamilton are moved.

This. But he's right. It's still very possible he gets 30 goals again meaning he's been a 30 goal guy every year since breaking into the league. Guaranteed offense like that comes at a price.

I understand Boston fans being reluctant to give up a package of Krejci, Caron, and Spooner for Ryan...but seriously, you'd only MAYBE give up the bottom 2 for him? Wow...

I would do the OP from an Anaheim POV. I Doubt Boston would though.

I would do that trade...

After Bobby Ryan leads the playoffs in scoring.

You could be right. I just think that if the B's are going to be the team they can be, Krejci and Bergeron will be centering the top 2 lines and Kelly will be on the 3rd.

But you are correct that if Seguin can become a C, Boston could deal Krejci for a winger.

To me the market value of Ryan is greater than the market value of Krejci. But no way is the difference Hamilton.

I guess we could include Vatanen as a piece, but I don't think the difference between Krejci+Hamilton and Ryan is Vatanen. Maybe a trade will make more sense in the summer for both parties.

all bruins fans who want a good forward, wait til july 1, the bruins will trade thomas, as they have to re-sign rask, and in trading thomas they dump 5 mil which they can use to sign rask and still have 10 mil in cap space... in exchange for thomas you would expect a solid scorer, but with Dougie Hamilton, Ryan Spooner, and Jared Knight all looking to crack the NHL next season i dont think the bruins are really that worried about going out and getting a scorer
