You guys switch the the PGT wayyyy too quickly. There was still 12 seconds left on my radio feed when you guys closed the thread. Mezaros had the puck and was going to get another shot on net and you guys completely ruined the ending for me. Thanks.

Now to wait for the disciplinary hearing.

I actually liked the Flyers before this game.

Great win for the Oilers. Hall set the tone and Eberle followed up perfectly. If the refs had actually made calls I bet this game would have ended 4-0.

Maybe he doesn't believe in magic and jinxes.

Nice solid game by Smid and Petry again, they had a huge 2+ minute shift on the PK there at the end of the game.

Why was my pic deleted?

If it was too offensive, my bad.

So if Pajarrvi is out for a while and we trade Hemsky, who do we bring up?

Two of Cornet, Hartikainen and Omark.

Me too, I actually think its a team that deserves a cup. That was a pretty dirty game though.

I don't mind Michaels mentioning "shutout." Stauffer was being silly when he reprimanded him for it during a game last year.

It took an infraction, but we pulled out the victory.

Seriously, I can't remember being this mad about a play in a hockey game. Glad the Oilers pulled it out though.

And beyond the Hartnell hit, the reffing was absolutely brutal.

Which is crazy when you consider how long the Oilers have been bad to mediocre for.

I haven't wanted a game win so bad since game 7, 2006.

This^^^

Also, Potter is a *****(cat). He run Hartnell. Hartnell knees PRV in retaliation. Hartnell go's after Potter later in the game and he skates away. Just junk, if your man enough to go for the big hit be man enough to stand up for it. Especially after what Hartnell did to PRV.

Tonight was the best performance of the year bar none because not only did the Oilers beat the Flyers but they defeated a more dangerous opponent which was the refs.
I'm not one to usually complain about the refs but this was beyond bush league, Tambellini should really file a grievance to the league after this debacle.

It's annoying because it overshadowed a very good performance by the team.
In particular Belanger Yes.... Belanger was fantastic tonight. He dominted faceoffs and actually made some very smart decisions in the offensive zone. Good for him.
The D also played very well outside of some breakdowns early in the 3rd, Petry continues to be an absolute stud along with Smid and Whitney seems to be coming around a bit.
Dubs also played very well, to shut out the Flyers is no small feat.
