I hope that Carolina, Columbus, Edmonton, Buffalo and Tampa Bay win most of their games.

Anyone but Vancouver. And yes, this means I choose Boston over the Canucks any day.

As mentioned by a previous poster I hope the teams around us win so we can end up with a top three pick. We are not as bad as our record indicates (-7GD) but need some offensive help, forsberg, Yakupov, and Grigorenko.

Let's make one thing clear, my number 1 are still the Habs until the end of the season whether we make the playoffs or not. I will cheer and hope for the best, whatever is in the best interest for the team until game 82.

I also cheer for every team that is facing the Leafs.

I do have a soft spot for a few other teams.

(In Order)
In the East:
Panthers - Would be a great underdog story
Rangers - Lundqvist, great goalie.

In the West:
Los Angeles - Long overdue
St. Louis - No I'm not a Halak fanboy. I've always had a soft spot for them
San Jose - Long overdue, missed out on too many great opportunities
Nashville - Underdog!! And now you have Gill there too.
Chicago - Would be on the top of my list usually but they recently won the cup. Give someone else a chance.

Edmonton: I want Mtl to have the second pick overall. So, basically, I'm rooting for every team to pass the Habs AND Toronto to not make the playoffs. (I know, the last wish is mean.)

I'm rooting for- Hamilton, Wheeling, Michigan University, North Dakota, Northeastern, Dartmouth, UMD, Sea Dogs, Cats, Volts, Knights, Blades, Tri City and Giants.

I'm rooting against- boston/leafs of course and Nashville so our 2nd round pick is higher. I'll root against any other teams if we get a 2012 draft pick from them on Monday.

I want as many Canadian teams in the playoffs as possible, with the exception of the Leafs. I'll be cheering my second favourite team, the Canucks.

I'd love to see Winnipeg make it, for their fans.

seriously fans should start asking to lose in Bell center.

Throw rotten tomatoes for a hat trick. and boo when they are in offensive zone

Always been a big Ottawa fan and glad they're having such a surprising season. Still enjoy watching the Habs though, I'm the first to admit that I'm a team polygamist.

After that, it's the Canucks.

The Impact season starts in 2 weeks so that's perfect. Then I will be waiting for the draft

I'd like to see the Jets/Blues and Preds do well, but not really cheering. Also I'm a huge Crosby fan so if he comes back a little love for the Pens

Canes, Columbus, Edmonton and Islanders for obvious reasons.

For the cup? It's between Philly, Boston, Ottawa and NY Rangers. Any exciting tough team equipped to bang!

Carolina, Buffalo, Edmonton, Tampa, Islanders, Anaheim...

basically any of the teams that can get in the way of us and the best odds for a top-2 pick.

I love the way Vancouver plays. I also like cheering for Higgins (always liked his play, and I think his reputation got a raw deal in Montreal) and Lapierre.

Right now, anyone who could help us finish in the basement. I also root for Nashville's opponent, in order to have the better position with our second rounder (sorry Skillzy). Of course, I want the Leafs to finish 9th, and Boston to fail miserably in the first round.
When the playoffs start, I'll follow Saint Louis and Chicago in the west. Pittsburgh is also growing on me. Geno is awesome, and I really enjoy watching this team play. Can't say I'll really root for anyone, but these are the teams I'll watch.

I might have considered Washington but I detest Dale Hunter.
