The Leafs are 3 points out with 2 games in hand. Why would they be sellers? What am I missing?
They've played very poorly and seemed disinterested in their last 4 games. They're basically 1st round fodder, and most feel it's unlikely the roster as constructed will ever do any more. The only reason they're even close right now is that Lupul and Kessel spent the first two months at a shooting percentage near 25% - as they came back to reality so did the standings....

Still sounds reactionist to me. They're a top 10 offense and a bottom 3 defense, 3 points out with 2 games in hand and 20 to play.
That's not an argument for selling, it's an argument for addressing their defense. Make a lateral swap offense for defense/goaltending, or spend assets on a defensive upgrade.
Well, Goligoski's assist on the goal just got me the lead in assists in my fantasy league matchup, so they are forgiven, this time. Unless I end up losing that category anyway, then **** him.
EDIT: Well, this (OT goal) was certainly unnecessary. -.-

Another couple of losses and the Leafs will be close to done. I'm really rooting for Florida to hold on, now that Green is back, I think Washington will make it fairly easily and the last spot will come down to Toronto and Florida.
