LA lost tonight. That's good.
But Calgary won.

And yes, I'm still keeping my hopes up. Why not? I don't get depressed at a season ending unless it's in the first round of the playoffs.

Radulov returning to the Preds for the playoffs. Yes please! This has gotta put them up there with some of the favorites am i right? I am fully on the Predators bandwagon due to my vegas bet of them winning the cup. We all know the Ducks arent. Other than the Preds/Ducks my only shot as cash is the Sabres and the Kings. Like I said go Preds! Who's with me?

I want to be able to root for the Preds but it's awfully hard when they employ Tootoo. Even with Radulov I think they severely lack the firepower up front to get past the likes of Detroit, Vancouver etc. Their number one centre is on pace for just over 50 points, you'll struggle to find a recent cup winner whose number two centre is worse than the Preds number one guy (whether it's Fisher or Legwand, neither has anything on Datsyuk, Sedin, Thornton etc).

Nice to see Pronger physics alive and well with Myers. Also good to see boarding is dangerous except when it happens to a Duck.

You know, if I'm going to dirty myself by rooting for the Wings, the least they could do is show the **** up.

I was saying I felt dirty rooting for the Wings

Love Zetterberg getting mad at Dustin the diver, he's just mad the Queens have copied their tricks so well. You taught the league Wings, deal with it

This will be interesting. I wonder what Suter does in the summer, does he resign with his team if they don't win the cup but make far into the playoffs? Can Radulov even bring his offence to NHL so soon?

I'm going to be rooting for the Blues.

Avs tied with 7 tenths on the clock. Pathetically bad play by Buffalo.

I'm rooting for the Yotes, Avs and Flames from here on out so the Colorado win was a good result IMO. And as much **** as I'll get for saying it, I'd rather see the Sharks make the playoffs, only if it comes at the expense of Dallas. I hate Ott and Ribeiro that much.

No surprise. Thanks to the magic of the main board, I learned that Karlsson is properly thought of as being as good as Coffey and Bourque.

Do we really need a shift by shift blog on nhl.com about Crosbys return? I get that it's a big deal but the media goes way overboard in shoving him down our throats.

Oh hey hey, Gardiner just scored a nasty goal. And to think the Ducks could have both Schultz and Gardiner without any issues. I don't think most people know that Murray was canned in Chicago for running them into the ditch. The only reason he has a job is because the Samuelis know nothing about hockey and deferred to Brian Burke when he went to Toronto.

At least it's not a head thing. Or maybe it is, but they won't say it.

Looking at whos in and whos out, it would be wonderful if the playoffs started today.
