I want them to tank at this point for a better draft pick, move away all expendable/****** players, and hope we can retool in the offseason and not be an embarrassment in the worst division in the league.

And what a two months it has been!!!

It more than makes up for all the lack of production, lack of heart and general disappointment he had been before that!!!

Well I always think this **** season can't get worse, right now the Caps are the laughingstock of pro sports.

Can it get worse than this?

Jesus, it's not even remotely close to that bad. The Caps aren't even in the conversation for the laughingstock of pro sports.

Have you been on twitter lately, it's all over the place.

And one of the highest respected Journalists of sports penned an article on the fall of the Capitals.

The laughingstock of all of sports may have been a bit far but there definitely up there at this point

As long as the Wizards exist, the Caps aren't anywhere close to the laughingstocks of DC, let alone sports.

No, they're not up there. There are literally dozens of organizations that are bigger laughing stocks.

Here, here! We're three points out of a playoff spot (and first place in our division). We're playing like garbage, but all this "time to wrap up the season and hope we qualify for some lottery picks" stuff is ********.

I certainly wouldn't bet on it, but there's still a small chance this team gets some lucky goals, puts up some wins at home, drags out a few OTL's on the road, and sneaks into a playoff spot. And after that, well, it's not like we were lights-out playoff performers the past few years either.

Shorter version: Plenty of talent on this team to sneak into the playoffs, even if a Wideman or a Hamrlik is traded.

Oh cheer up. Maybe just this week's flavor. Not long ago it was the Habs that were the laughing stock but they've exhausted all possibilities to be that anymore this year............I think. The Caps are the new flavor in town and yes I think it could get worse.

GMGM in fear of his job charges the ice and challenges Bourque to a duel. This makes up for lack of goals scored tonight.

GDT is a strange one today.

What I'd like to see for a bit is no man on man coverage for the D. Go back to the zone coverage or whatever they called it. Just to see if it makes any diffence. It can't be any worse.

Agree, but keep in mind that dropping the man on man means we are giving up on Hunters plan for the defense, since I believe implementing it was his system.

LOL...out of all the things you could have garnered from that video, you got charcoal grill. Pretty funny. I think some guys like the actual grilling process.
