Definitely Frattin. I'm pretty excited to see him play up here again.
What has anybody else done recently to warrant a call-up? I'm surprised that so many people want to see Kadri up again. By no means am I giving up on him but he did not look very good during his last call up.
Maybe I should clarify- this is assuming we only get one of them up. I'd love to see them both up over Crabb and Lombardi.
Kadri has looked better and improved each time he's been called up, and then dips and stops putting up points and disappears a bit, and gets sent back down. It's not terrible or bad news for him.
But I think most of you guys are right - would be very surprised if it's not Frattin
Joey Crabb in the AHL: 9 GP, 7G-8A-15 Pts
Matt Frattin in the AHL: 21 GP, 12G-4A-16 Pts
That's the difference between the two leagues. Unless people actually seen him play with the Marlies, and care to elaborate on what apsects of Frattin's game have improved, I'm not putting much stock in AHL numbers. He'll get his chance when the time comes, but it shouldn't be now. Let the kids stay where they are, in a winning atmosphere.
I'd like to see Frattin get another chance. Despite his numbers I thought he was playing decent before he was sent down. You can see that this kid has some real upside.I'm not opposed to trading away some young players on this team. It really just depends on the individual.Personally unlike many here, I am not opposed to trading Kadri,Colborne, Aulie,or even Schenn(for the right price). However Gardiner and Frattin look real promising and I would be quite disappointed if either were in play.

ur joking right, kadri was really good in his last stint.
he got sent down because he was only forward that didn't have to be put on waivers.
i wouldn't be surprised if frattin gets the call though

ur acting like frattin has high end skill. that is not true. kadri and gardiner i think are the ones we should not include in any trade

Big thing for Frattin was finding his scoring role. He's seemed to catch fire a bit finding the back of the net.
Not really expecting it, but I wonder if they plan on re-calling Dupuis at all. I know, crazy, but he's been better offensively also with the Marlies. He's a PPG in his last 9 games.
Do think it should be Hamilton or Frattin though, unless they want to give Kadri a confidence boost as he's been slumping lately.

Dupuis just mite be claimed on re-call waivers so I think he stays down.

Really good? It's the same old story with Kadri, a little flash right when he's called up, and then a dozen games of being pushed off the puck, giveaways, and no work in the corners. He's not strong enough for the NHL, or can't use his IQ to avoid the plays that will require his body.
5 points in his first 9,, then 1 in his next 10, with a -2 rating
Kadri is so overrated, and he will never play a significant part on this team. I doubt he has good trade value left.. if he can be thrown in to grease the wheels of any other trade, the Leafs should do it.
Maybe it's Kadri and Frattin. I don't see any trades they make not clearing bodies instead of adding so I'm not sure why they put two players on waivers.
