Tracking Trades: Which King Gets Traced The Furthest Back?

Is Carter the "longest traced" King?

Olli Jokinen drafted 3rd overall on June 21, 1997. Jokinen gets traded in the Palffy & Smolinski trade. Smolinski gets traded to Ottawa for Gleason. Gleason & Belanger get traded for Johnson. Johnson gets traded for Carter.

Is there another King who goes further back? Pretty sweet to know this whole playoff run gets started from 1997.

One of the Kings can be traced back to a player on the very first roster of the franchise. Unfortunately I don't remember who it was. A sharksblogger did a traceback of all the players on the roster for the kings and the coyotes prior to the WCF, I think you can find the link in that thread somewhere.
