There wasn't a practice yesterday. There will be a skate today. That's probably when updates will be issued.

Flyers 4:5 Calgary
Homer grossly overpays for a goalie right after the game because he thinks that will save the season.
There's nobody to get. You want Dwayne Roloson? He's been worse if you can believe that.

I've got an engagement party to go to tonight. After I eat my prime rib and get in a few drinks I'm gonna peace out and hopefully I'll be able to see the majority of the game.
I'm actually confident they'll win this one

rumors here at Saddledome that Braydon Coburn is out tonight
TimmyP
I'd like to see Grossman with Timonen, but I have a feeling it will be Meszaros.

If Coburn has got the flu, or is just a bit under the weather, then hopefully that explains his sub-par performance against Edmonton.

According to TimmyP, he is having some trouble turning his upper torso. Says it might be a pinched nerve in the neck.

Well, that could account for it as well.
It's too bad we're on a road trip, I would have preferred to have Gustafsson or Bourdon in the lineup instead of Lilja. Not much to do about it though, and it would be foolish to have one of them around as the 7th dman.

Couturier is skating.
Bryzgalov is confirmed as the starter.
Also, Coburn is expected to play tonight.
UPDATE:
Per Sam @ Inq.:
Quote:
Couturier says he's ready to play. Says he has a bruise from fall in Winnipeg, and sat out Thurs as a precaution

Hopefully, Craig Berube, Laviolette and staff figures out the PK before it becomes even more detrimental.
Quote:
Laviolette said it will “take time,” and that the coaching staff continues to teach and show video to bring those players up to speed.
But what about when the veterans aren’t getting the job done?
“I think it just comes down to, when we’re getting opportunities to clear pucks and block shots, we’re not making those plays right now,” Matt Carle said. “I think that’s really been killing us.”
There has been some other theories suggested for the Flyers‘ penalty killing demise, such as that they are tightening the box and being less aggressive than usual. Carle and Laviolette both downplayed that notion, though Laviolette said “confidence goes with anything.”
