Not excusing his bad play in the game, but at least when it mattered most he "gave the team a chance to win". Hopefully this happens more often.

Grossman has to be the most stable d-man we've had in a long time. Him, Pronger and Timonen are easily the most solid d-men we have. Kubina is even better than Carle and possibly Coburn. Honestly... I kind of miss MAB.

Can someone give me a pic of Bryz after he stacked the pads?
Also possibly put 'Draw me like one of your french girls' on it?

In other words he was inconsistent....this time within the game as opposed to game to game. Guess it's still kind of his MO...but maybe slowly but surely he'll string some more consistency together although we're pretty far into the season. Nonetheless, he made amends tonight and stepped up in the SO...

I sure hope so. The guy needs to go on a tear, just so he's a confident goalie for the playoffs.

HNIC showed Bryz give a consoling shin pad tap to Mez after that miss, while discussing Mez's eye roll in the first.

Thanks for those two points. We raised our game after that abysmal start. We can't keep on playing like this though. We need to sort things out defensively, on the PK, and with our goaltending. Hopefully Bryzgalov's perfomance in the Edmonton game, and now winning in the shoot out will be the start of a turnaround at least.

Dude. Its only his first season! Gotta wait till ATLEAST his 4th season as a Flyer before we can unbiasedly judge him.

Okay, everyone stop using the words "turnaround" and "build on". It's like kryptonite to this team.

good to see Bryz being a team player and patting Mez on the back after he missed the wide open net to win it.

Mez was pretty ticked at himself for missing that golden opportunity.
