It's mind games. Soccer managers in Europe use it all the time. It puts the pressure on the teams in front of them. Unfortunately, the Rangers probably can't handle the pressure of being in the position they are in. They're not there yet.

To put a more positive light on it, is Philly really the worst first round draw if we were to get bumped to 4th place?

Just taking a shot in the dark but they may have viewed Neal as a product of Richards. They also were in the midst of ownership troubles and Neal was due for a contract.

That's true...it also made me think if the Rangers made an offer to Dallas for Neal...would you guys offer Girardi in a trade for James Neal??? I know i would have traded him for Neal..He would be the starting point most likely...maybe Girardi for Neal and a dman like Daley or Fristic??

When he does those long yells his voice fluctuates like he's going through puberty.

I like RJs enthusiasm but can't stand his goal calls and inflections. Good guy, bad commentator. (Like Doc )

Cmon do you really think we are going to lose that many games? The Rangers lost to the devils. You know it's a different game when those two teams square off. PIT would have to make up a lot of games with the rangers losing a lot of games. Just won;t happen. Our team is too good.

Technically, Pens need to win both upcoming games against the Rangers, then pull out two more wins than the Rangers do through the rest of the season. It's certainly possible, especially if Crosby makes a real impact.

Did anyone else notice that when we lose, nhl.com has us in the top 5 on the front page but when we win were never there? Its starting to piss the crap out of me.

Literally the same thing for ESPN Top 10. Every time we lose a particular game, there we are.

Same with the "Metro" newspaper, which I'm forced to read, since it's free.
The sports writer is a HUUUUUGGGEEEE Debbies fan, but can't write about them, since no one cares.
From reading the paper, you'd think the Rangers are 5-15 this year.
And headlines look like "Rangers get undeserved win against amazing Devils", and "Super Devils destroy lowly Rangers!!!!!"

Rinaldo = Kaleta's lost brother.

He got dropped by Mike Brown a few weeks back too. Gotta love it.

If we meet in the playoffs, someone really has to clean Rinaldo's clock. It would probably be the most American thing ever done in Rangers history.
