Really so much more worried about the Pens than I am about the Devils.

Genuinely surprised at the outcome.

Never seen a team tie games more often then the Devils. I mean I'll give them credit, they're great under pressure, but it sucks.

Commentators on the Pitt feed said that the Penguins have a ton of depth...I don't think they understand the concept of depth.

Devils looked like garbage today. I was expecting to see something extra from them considering Tampa played last night and the Devils were rested.

shots for today's game was 22-16

Disgusting hockey.

Their idea of depth is tanking for draft picks.

Pens just beat the BJs 4-2 with their AHL goalie playing in his first NHL game. This plus two disallowed goals (one of which should have counted--horrendous call). And yet another goal for Malkin.

Their top goalie prospect is Wedgewood, who is a teammate of JT Miller in Plymouth. Doesn't look to be anything too special, but we'll see.

The Pens have scoring depth for sure. Every game it's someone else scoring a goal, not just Malkin and Neal. Today it was Malkin, Letang, Vitale and Dupuis.

What scares me as a Rangers fan? A guy like Kunitz (...who?) has 43 points (17 g, 26 a) through 61 games, while Richards has 41 points (18 g, 23 a) through 60. The cap difference? Kunitz will make $3.725 mil this year and Richards as we all know will make $22 mil. Sorry, but that sucks. I'm actually a Richards fan but come on man. Now would be a great time to go on a Malkin-esque scoring tear.

But Malkin assists on most of those goals. Put anyone with some talent on his wing and they will score. Without Malkin, no one will score on that team other than Staal and Neal.

Aaannndd the Devils start falling back to earth. I'll admit, their hot streak lasted a bit longer than I thought it would. Glad to see them blow their load well before the playoffs.

lol @ 4 goals on 16 shots.

Funny thing is devils fans still support brodeur. I asked a buddy of mine who's a devil fan what he thought about the devils giving brodeur another contract, and he thinks they should lol. "He can split time and mentor another goalie"

Do Devils fans understand that Brodeur can't mentor a modern goalie? Goalies actually know how to play goal now. Is Brodeur gonna mentor the goalie to flop and stack the pads?

I don't think that any of the goals were Brodeur's fault.

Yeah, that's the reality of it.

But apparently devils fans don't care about reality when it comes to brodeur. He's the team hero and will always be.

10 minutes into the Islander game, and it looks like a complete role reversal from the game on Monday. Isles dominatiing, but Lehner is keeping Ottawa only down by one. Dare I say the Isles look like a playoff team?
