yeah, that kinda sucks - Palmieri is a high price. The 2nd pick is a very heavy price.

NOW. Play defense, Zid. Play defense.

Foster - nice guy, wouldn't have him on the ice.
Veilleux - ok, he's practically free - who cares.
Palmieiri? - I had high hopes, but to be honest, he didn't look any better than Pierre Dageneis, or Patrick Davis, or ...

The 2nd - ok, now that's nutty. I would've done just a 2nd for Zid straight up.
The conditional third? Fletcher is just pouring it on.

Was happy with Foster and a 4th but wow, that's a huge overpayment. That 2nd rd pick ruins it it for me. Lou may have shat the bed again, but we'll have to see how Zidlicky turns out I guess.

meh, he's better than Fayne. He easily becomes our best defenseman and this is not a rental. Lou sees some kind of project.

$4 million for a cap hit is high, but at least we are trying to rebuild the defense and using the money that we will save this summer.

But then again, we have a defenseman for the first time who can reach double digits in goals and the 40+ point mark.

I'm OK with it.
