This cannot fail.
Seriously though, this is good, keeps us from raiding Norfolk.

So we're bringing a guy in on game day instead of getting rid of one? Interesting.

Tim Wallace, claimed today off waivers from the Islanders, will not play tonight for Lightning, coach Guy Boucher says.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Smith or Angelidis go back after the game.

From the main and Isles board:

Wallace came in and played the 4th line grinding role just fine. I never saw him let up in the effort department. I also saw him try a few things with the puck that 4th liners don't tend to do. Of course, he did some of that with Pandolfo at center (who is basically a black hole for offense.)

2 way $700K/105K and UFA at end of year so just a warm body for Bolts for the last 20 games without robbing Norfolk.

This is getting to be a
little ridiculous. 4 straight games - 4 straight roster moves on the same day.

I like Wallace, he plays hard. Plus, he's got cement in his boots.

A valiant effort and you gotta respect him in that fight, but in this category he is still an unknown and unproven having only 2 NHL fights under his belt with 1 loss and 1 draw.

I wouldn't consider him a scrapper but he's very physical and isn't afraid to mix it up. I like this pickup, it's good for us and the Admirals.

Why would you have seen it today given the circumstances? This season is done and we're building for the future.

I don't know....just thought he might want to bust his ass for his new team rather than fit right in. And yes, today was abysmal for everyone and it was his first game etc., etc.,
