If we do trade Stastny (which I don't want to), I think the Preds might be able to offer up a good package
They won't blow up their team though. I would say Suter, Weber, and Hornqvist are untouchable until the offseason.

If one of those guys were on a retirement season or old but were still impact players they would be dealt. But considering they were all drafted in 2003 there's no reason to rush moving them until necessary.

Weber, Suter, and Rinne are untouchable. Anyone else is movable for Stastny. Wilson and Smith are our two forwards with highest value, then Erat and Hornqvist are about equal.

Would Wilson + defenseman for Statsny if we were to move him (which I'm not in favor of).... maybe you can add Radulov too
I don't want to trade Stastny and I hope we don't but if we could get Wilson, Blum + than I wouldn't mind. Getting an ex-Giant and Wilson a guy for some reason I have always liked would be awesome.
Stastny would be excellent on the Preds but I don't think Avs are interested in trading him. He is one of the veterans on the team, even if he only is 26 years old. At some point you have to break the cycle of getting younger and leave things alone.
Preds don't have any forwards that come CLOSE to Stastny.
For Wilson? A Center who has peaked at 34 points (yes, is young, but lots of 22 year old forwards can produce).
For Blum? We already have an abundance of offensively challenged D-men. Ok, he's young, but so is Elliott, Barrie, Wilson, Johnson, Siemens, Gaunce & Rutkowski.
We need clutch, goal scoring, game winning forwards, with leadership qualities. Not hacks that "have potential". We need proven.
I'd rather package Stazz and something to NJ for Parise (subject to a contract being signed).
