McKenzie says the same. Sucks for Boyce.

edit: Actually, I would think he sees more ice time.

Why did Columbus waste their waiver priority on him when he could have simply been added in the Nash deal?

Good fourth line player, lots of energy and plays very physical. Not going to provide much offense. Not sure if this would be a precurser to a trade or simply Columbus taking advantage of the chance to land a role player.

good 4th liner, can play 3rd line if needed

very good energy guy .. liked him a lot, but with all the youngsters we got coming up it was probably his time to leave

Best of luck to Boyce, he's a hell of a player. Great forechecker and sparkplug for his team.

Good claim by the BJ's and glad Boyce will be getting an opportunity to be an everyday regular.

I'll miss him on the Leafs.

You're going to love Boyce. He gives his all every shift and is a good grinder, energy player. Doesn't have the skill for the 3rd line imo but he's perfect for the 4th line.

Toronto already has Brown which kind of makes Boyce redundant in a way.

Sounds like he'll be a good replacement for Phalsson.

Good pick up for CBJ, Boyce doesn't have top 6 talent, but he is very versatile, defensively responsible, hard working 4th liner who can fill in the 3rd liner role very well if needed.

Rather have Lombardi, Armstrong or Crabb on the waivers than Boyce.

Best of luck to Boyce, I'm sure he's going to enjoy all the ice-time. He's a good role player.

Never going to be an offensive threat, but he's a solid 4th line grit guy. Can provide good energy on the forecheck and never takes a shift off.

No, but Toronto has enough of them. That ice time is better utilized by someone who is going to be around when this team is actually challenging for something.

Who would've thought the only one left, out of Boyce, Brent and Crabbs is Crabbs.
