Somebody taking his rediculous salary off our hands is worth even more.

Why they drop David Savard to the AHL?? Defensive probleme ? or just too much NHL contract ?

Most improbable.

Awesome, he really regressed this year. Won't be missed and we have plenty coming up to replace him with.

I'm not liking this. Clitsome had a bad year, but its not like his contract was that bad @ 1.1 and 1.4. I guess its the 1-way nature of the contract that was bothering Howson. WPG fans are pretty excited on the trade/fa board.

Free NHL player on a reasonable deal; worth taking a chance on.

What should I expect as a Jets fan?

Yes - In would think the idea of paying him an NHL salary in Springy is the impetus.

Yep - worth a claim for sure.

He has a good shot. He was everyone's favorite here last year because he was new and he wasn't a screw-up.

Wish him the best.

You should expect "Get some Clitsome" chants.

What will ACA do now?

Clitsome is expendable with Savard playing so well and other rookies like Goloubef eventually needing ice time during the rebuild. Maybe he might have been useful as an AHL mentor, but not at the NHL level. Savard and Goloubef can be sent up and down as needed giving the team more flexibility.

I wish Clitsome the best. I think he can be a good NHLer.
