So we got a third round pick for Rozsival, when all is said and done. Should have been a second. Good job to get a third for Wolski at this point, though.

Excellent move by Slats. Perhaps the precursor to something larger?

Not unexpected but good to see Slats getting something for a guy who probably wasn't gonna play any more games here.

Decent move by Slats. Shame Wolski didn't fit into the system, or didn't have the work ethic, or whatever it is.

He should be decent in Florida with guys like Flash who play similar games.

And yeah, I liked Wolski. Seemed like a nice guy. Legitimately do wish him luck and hope he gets back on track with his career.

Yes, I will devote all my effort to that cause.

The difference between the 61st and 75th picks is always huge.

Lol. I was being halfway sarcastic. Plus, what does it matter what we root for? I root for Hank to get shutouts every game. Doesn't mean it happens.

Aside from having an awesome name, he is a talented player. Wish him the best in FLA.

Too late. The deadline was today at noon. 48 hour waivers on weekends.

Really hope he can get his career back on track in Florida. He looked good with the Whale, should fit in with Florida.

He had a down year overall last season- but he never got a fair chance to rebound from it this season. Guess it's because he actually has skill and isn't a grinder.

So Sather got almost 5 million in cap space, Casey Wellman, Mike Vernace and a 2013 3rd for Wolski and EC?

How so? They had plenty of space for Nash before making this move. This move is what it is...a dump of Wolski. It was inevitable, regardless of other moves.

I agree. The victory here is not a better chance to acquire Nash but rather getting something halfway usable for Wolski.

Is there some way to add Nash without giving up our starting lineup core? If there is, bring on Nash.

Didn't think we would get a 3rd for Wolski, but I am not complaining.

Great trade.
