Darnit. Frustrating. Great game though, great tenacious comeback by the Jets -- one of the best we've seen them do in terms of pushback to set the pace.

Great job by Halak to bring it into OT, but I'm really pleased by the Jets' fight overall. They could easily have taken the two in regulation there, and would have deserved it. I sure do like that Blues team a lot, though -- what a tight, dynamic bunch.

Fun game all around after a slow start, great third period and pleased to continue a standing-point streak.

To whoever was saying we're ineffective in shootouts -- we're doing just fine in shootouts, and took that one to an extra round. No shame in that, AFAIK there aren't many teams that are bona fide shootout masters.

Wheeler. Wow every day.

Happy to get the point really not that mad about the extra point was expecting a lose so this is a bonus. Really wish the NHL would consider going to 10 minutes of 4on4 and then a shoot out. Also you should not get a point if you lose in OT only get the extra if you are in a SO.

Jets have won their last two games that went to shootout I believe.

Exactly! Jets outplayed them the last 2/3 of regulation ... came back .... got a point against a non-conference team .. pretty good stuff IMHO.

BTW I hate this middle guy on the HNIC team .. what a jerk.

Bob had some really nice things to say today about the team and its fans. Thanks, Bob!

At the end of the day it's one point instead of zero. I'll take it.

Bad decision not sending Wellwood out on the SO. Wheeler, Little, Wellwood should be nobrainers as first 3 in the SO based on their stats,

Great game guys.

Wheeler looked awesome and Kane was everything I had heard about.

Good luck the rest of the way, I can see you guys making some noise in the playoffs.

It shouldn't have gone to the shootout had Buff passed it to Kane wide open in the slot on that last few seconds of OT. WIDE OPEN, make the pass Buff. I like Buff but that's a point he cost us and blowing coverage on Simmonds against Philly was two. If we miss the postseason by one point remember those games.

We're now 4 points behind the Anderson-less Sens for 7th (in case we don't win the division)

Nah, I want the Leafs to lose a few to fall out of contention.

Even when I was a Leaf fan I hated their fanbase. Now I hate them even more.

41-16 shots against one of the tightest checking teams in the league - that's a good team we got a point off of. Disappointing we didn't get 2, but at least we're marching forward in the standings. We now have 10 out of 12 possible points in the last 6 games. If they keep up this pace, they'll stay in the race.

Wheeler was a monster out there. Love that guy. Halak was super solid tonight, unfortunately. Love the fight out there - they want this bad.

Somebody should keep stealing their chicken wings.

That's a unbelievable over simplification. Seriously try and think about the entire season rather than the last 5 games.

Just a Blues fan stopping by.

Great game by Wheeler. The Jets out played the Blues today and deserved the two points.

Good luck from here on out, and hopefully the Blues and Jets can face off again this season.

Very entertaining game! Buff is both exhilarating, and FRUSTRATING to watch! Is he a D or a forward? So much skill and size, but does not use his huge frame consistently! When he plays with an "edge" he is SO effective, otherwise not so much. 2 assists today, nice, but in my opinion at the end of OT shuld have tossed it over to Kane who had way more to shoot at.
Huge shout out to Wheeler! He was absolutely FLYING out there.....and got rewarded. Nice to see!

Please let's not get into this...that would kill overtime. 3 pts for a regulation win is the only fair and equitable method, which the league won't change. Many threads on this already.
