It just hit me that the Dreamboat (oh hell yeah, I'm bringing it back) is tied for 11th in the league in assists.

If Wheeler keeps playing with this confidence he'll be the next Pavel Datsyuk in the next couple of years. I don't know what that fit of madness was that took over the bruins management that they decided to trade him but I'm glad they did.

I was ok with this one. I would've preferred to see Wellwood in the shootout over Kane & Ladd but other than that no big deal.

Ma$e had a bit of a rough start but settled down nicely after that and was good enough in the shootout.

And I know we may be better off cheering for the Leafs tonight, but I am going on record saying I will not and never cheer for the Leafs.

That is all.

I was actually thinking about that earlier, and trying to find some way in which a Capitals win would be better for us. I decided to cheer for the Capitals. I didn't need a reason.

And he's 33rd in the league in points.

I changed my user title when you mentioned it in the GDT.

I'm so with you.

I cannot, just cannot, bring myself to want the Leafs to win.

Sooooo I'm just going to officially say I don't care who wins this game, and whatever happens, the Jets will deal with it.

It could really rival the Stapler for best nickname.

Wheeler chant was sweeeet!

Too bad we cannot snag those extra points.
I will always cheer this team if they come to play.
They did that today and I am happy with the 1 point... better than 0.
More and more respect for our tough team.
Jets hockey baby!!

It's really six of one half dozen of the other. I'd rather see the Leafs win because they won't be able to do as much with the momentum of a big win then the Caps can.

Either way it puts them to within a point.

Jets need to keep winning.

Agree with the Wellwood sentiment - he's hovering around 50% on his SO attempts.

And I doubly agree with not cheering for the Leafs - the difference it makes to the playoff chances just doesn't warrant doing that.

Wellllll good thing we aren't cheering for the Leafs tonight, LOL.

Just caught the Coach Noel presser -- that's the happiest I've heard him all season. One thing I do like about him is how focused he is on the play more than the outcome -- this was a very good performance that the Jets should feel good about, nice to see Noel reflecting that to the troops.

I agree - Noel does not focus on the score as much as the effort by the Jets, win or lose. He has done a great job this year preparing the team night in/night out.

Haha, I think it's in a warmup so he's not in serious mode quite yet.

For some reason I thought this game was tonight I'm cheering for the Leafs and the Caps to both lose. How great would it be for the NHL to randomly decide that neither team should receive points.

Love all that Leafs hate. Only under exceptional circumstances can I see myself cheering for the Leafs. Maybe if the game was absolutely necessary, but the Jets can deal with whatever happens tonight. It would be nice for it not to be a 3 pointer however.

Cheering for Carolina over the Panthers is easy.

Welp, if Toronto isn't going to win, then let's hope they get blown out. No OT!!

Also interesting, Dustin Byfuglien is 3rd amongst NHL defensemen in points with 40, despite having played only 48 games. His PPG is only behind Karlsson for active defensemen.

The fans are really getting into it lately, feeling that playoff run. I love the Pavy chant last game and Wheeler chant today. During that Blues timeout today it got loud, that could have been the loudest I heard the MTS Centre this year. Great effort!

It's so smart. The only way to be a consistently successful team is to focus on execution and effort, and not result.
