He really is worth 4M ... It's amazing how he goes from a complete shutdown dman one year, to scoring 13 goals and playing big minutes ... Yet, he is still SO underrated. Knowing this organization could possibly not sign this guy, I'd deal him.

He has an absolute bomb from the point and he's also a shutdown D-man. Before he finally saw a climb in his offensive #'s this year, he and Mike Weaver were a great shutdown pairing last year. It just went unnoticed because he was playing for a crappy team.

Garrison's legit.
was going to ask about his play without the puck.....guess this answets it from someone who watches him on a reg basis

I'd think that it seems like overpayment on paper, but Garrison is a BC boy and we'd pay him well to stay at home. Raymond is a Top 6 that is expendable. Good move for both teams, not to mention Raymond is an RFA this season and likely won't be due for much of a raise due to injury.

I'd do it, use the salary space to go after Ott or something.

if garrison is available. he'll be in a canucks uniform. if salo gets injured during the playoffs, garrison would be able to take salo's spot. would way rather have garrison over allen.
