Do it, DW.

2-yr deal / $800-900K per. Something like that.
Solid 4th liner. Could be a tad feistier actually but otherwise, I like him down there.

I was totally against the guy this off-season, but man has he turned it around. One of those rare cases where I guy has such good chemistry on a team that even though his previous numbers said otherwise, he surprised.

I'm on board with something like 2-3 years, $800k salary/cap hit. Good player and keeps the Sharks from getting a pure enforcer like Staubitz/Shelley, which is a great thing!

BTW, DW quoted in article above that he does not plan to do anything until after the end of the season (which would include any playoff performance).

He's currently earning $750k, so I can't see too much variation from that $$ if extension is signed.

And as he is the kind of player that can really get banged up, I don't expect more than an one year deal. (Especially if the organization thinks they have a "kid" in the depth chart who can fill the same role.)

Just do it DW. He is one of the few players who has shown up almost every game. I'd be fine with anything 900K or under. He has earned a raise.

Do it. The Mystery House always comes to play, chips in a few goals here and there, hits, and sticks up for his teammates.

with our previous 4th line woes, DW would be dumb not to resign Winchester. DO IT

The Winchester Mystery House is in San Jose. So Brad Winchester got the nickname Mystery House by the good people of HF

3 years is too long for any 4th liner; 1 year at 850-900 or 2 at 800 would be solid

I'm happy to see that I was totally wrong when I thought it would be a mistake to sign him in the preseason. I'd like to see him stick around for a couple more years. More of a team player than Eager. Staubitz, and more talented than Shelley.

Have you seen anything in Mash that makes you think that he will be able to.
