Olesz. Holl + 1st or Clendening + conditional 1st would be they type of return I would probably be ok with.

I'm still hoping for Harding to TOR. Although Burke does not appear to like the asking price on the market.

I would like Blacker or Holzer. Not interested in Aulie or Gunnarsson.

Would love Franson but I don't think what we have to offer can get him...and I don't know if he's a piece Burke would move.

Think just about every hockey writer I follow on twitter tweeted about Commodore going to Tampa Bay. Everyone is just waiting for the frenzy to begin.

I hope Fletch comes down on his asking price for Harding. I dont see him with the Wild going forward, and we cant afford to just let him walk away in the offseason for nothing.

Commodore to Tampa for a conditional 7th. Wonder what the condition is.

Can't we? I mean, a 2nd or 3rd rounder would be nice, but it's not going to make or break anything.

I'm sick of seeing this organization let its UFA's walk away for free. Were still pretty shallow in the depth department, so yeah I think another 2nd would do us a lot of good in the upcoming draft.

Just an out of curiosity question but if Chicago offered us Leddy back for Shultz would you take it? Or would Chicago have to sweeten the deal?

Pretty sure we'd have to sweeten the deal. Leddy > Schultz now and in the future.

I don't think the team can really afford to let anyone walk away at this point.

Wow, I actually havent been following his progress, I didnt know the kid had advanced that far.. I thought he was struggling a bit where Shultz seems like a steady veteran presence for a playoff contender..

But again, Im sure you guys know more about it then I do. I just thought it would be cool if there was a chance to get Leddy back.

Did not expect Gilbert. He showed some offense early in his career.

I think CF really wants to get rid of any former Lemaire-esque players. While Schultz was my first favorite player, and I have always wanted to see him do well, he was conditioned to play Lemaire's style. Mobile, decent stick, and fling it up the boards.

Schultz to me seemed the product of his D partner more than anything. Was great with Johnsson, was good with Burns, was mediocre to bad with anyone else. Didn't see him much pre-lockout.

I don't know how many times I've seen him watch the goalie pull the puck out of the back of the net because he's not clearing the crease or anywhere near his man.

His best years were with Mitchell, imo. He was the first guy I really wanted to do well. His stick positioning and gap control were unbelievable under Lemaire. But Lemaire stifled any offensive ability/first pass the first few years to make him become someone who is very routine in his plays.
