Do people really think if Moose started all the games Marty has we would have won more? I think if Moose started every game people would complain about him being too old. Remember we lost 3 of 4 with him in net in late October when Marty was out injured.

True.

But to be fair, the team "sucked".

Our college FA signing will be Kelly Zajac. Book it.

Wouldn't be surprised. Lou has gone out of his way to sign siblings to avoid Niedermayer part two. Well, at least he's given chances to those players, since some of them we're gone sooner than later.

Pandolfo, Gionta, Zajac, and Parise all come to mind. Probably many more.

Does Parise's brother still play in our system? I didn't think so.

I made a funny sarcastic comment the other night about Stephen Gionta having a bright future, and how Boulton sucks, and needs to go.

The truth is in reality I had to look up what forward position he played, and then looked up whatever fourth line guy fit it which is Boulton. I remember we were in such a rut at one point last year we actually had to call him up. While I was joking about him having a future I was surprised to hear he has only 10 points or something with Albany.

Is he still their captain?

Jordan got a raw deal, kid was promising but had a horrible hip injury that all butterfly goalies fear. He played in switzerland for 2 yrs with the Red Bull team but washed out. Came back to north america got a tryout with the Rangers but couldn't stick. No idea what he's doing now. Probably playing overseas's somewhere.

He probably would of ended up a solid AHL goalie one day had it not been for his bad hips.

I forgot that he was a Goaltender, and I also forgot he was last playing in the system in 08. I feel like that was only 2 years ago, but it's really 4!

When there were 45 GR I asked what people thought the starts splits for Brodeur and Hedberg would be.

>
30-15 Brodeur
27-18 Brodeur
25-20 Brodeur
<

I was going to wait until 15 GR, but since it's being discussed with 18 GR and we know Marty is starting today, we're close enough.

I compiled this late last night and I don't feel like picking through the recaps in the schedule again this morning. So if there are any errors, have at it.

Starting with the game against Boston 1/4/12:

Brodeur is 11-10 in 22 starts
Hedberg is 4-2 in 5 starts

Moose relieved Marty and took the loss in Calgary.

Today will be Marty's 23rd start in the last 28 games. Don't forget to factor in the ASG break if you take the position that Marty isn't rested enough.

The five game losing streak hurt Marty.

I don't remember Moose playing 22 games either. I honestly thought he played 5.

I guess it's moving pretty slow, because we haven't heard anything about this since then.

they're tired from all this travel - resting up for the minutes upon minutes of bus travel the next week.

Mental exhaustion maybe. I'm ok if there was a message sent along with it as a caveat. Rest & win or lose & work your ***** off wed.

Yeah, have a team meeting and watch how bad we were in terms of decision making.

Make the simple play, goddammit.
