The worst thing was when Hamonic got healthy, and they were not going to play Ness (wasn't going to change that at all)

Curious on how many healthy scratches for the Islanders, there has to be some to protect their assets come Monday

My first console was a PS2. Before that it was PC. Super Smash Bros/all things Nintendo are overrated IMO.

I never owned an N64, but you can't say playing Super Smash Bros with your friends isn't one of the funnest things a man can do.

I'll restate that,
Sens will come out very strong against the Isles b/c they did not play up to their potential last night and should be a little pissed about it, Lehner is going to stand on his head and show the team that he is the real deal and that we (Sens) are going to win big. ergo, 2pts for Sens thank you very much.

And I am a homer Sens fan in a big way. Really, totally biased.

Garrioch says Turris has a hearing at noon with Shanhan and will likley be suspended one game.
Konopka to play.

Screw Shanahan... really! The none call on Wolski and now he's going to suspend Turris for that? Inconsistent to say the least.

I think Snow is going to use this game as the make or break game to decide if we're really pushing for the playoffs or going to sell off our unwanted pieces.

Islanders REALLLYYY need these two points (in regulation if possible). So do us a solid and let us win this one, and we'll help beat Jersey and Winnipeg. You get the 7th seed, we take the 8th seed. Deal?

What about the hit by Gaustad that concussed Winchester? Guy hasn't played since late December. It's a joke.

Pretty much this.

We've had how many players cheapshotted this year with no suspension?

Spezza kneed. (x2)
Foligno kneed.
Foligno elbowed in the face.
Winchester buried from behind with a crosscheck into the boards.
Alfie headshotted.

The inconsistency is mind boggling.

Smith, Folingo, Condra, Greening need to step it up!! Were not getting any secondary scoring.

After the first half of the season I thought these guys would get 20 goals.

Eww to Konopka starting.
... Oh well, not like we were going to call Locke up or anything.

So are we moving Smith up to 2C? Personally, I don't know how well he'd respond to the added minutes, but I think Jim O'Brien deserves to see a few shifts with 2nd line talent. I mean, certainly not the whole game, and he probably won't do a whole lot with it, but he's played well enough that he deserves at least a couple of meaningful shifts with good players. A reward for his play so far.

Hopefully we can carry over our late play vs. the Bruins last night and dominate the Islanders.

I just realised that because I live in NY state, albeit well outside the range of the Long Island area, the game is not being shown on Time Warner Cable and, even if it was, will be blacked out because I'm supposedly within reach of the NYC area. Even though its not being shown on TV here I still can't watch it on nhl.com because nhl.com considers me to be in a TV viewing area which I'm not! Double screw job!

I would think Foligno would be sliding into the 2C spot, he has experience there from earlier the year, and hopfully it lights a spark. I wouldn't mind seeing Greening Konopka Neil together, and see O'brien on the wing with Foligno and Alfie.

I know he hasn't played center for a while, but he is really the best offensive option we have outside of call-ups.

I used to have Bell ExpressVu on a PVR 9241 at the apartment I lived in Utica. Got it through some black market operation out of Florida called Largo Communications. Had full HD, dual receivers, the works - it was awesome. I don't live there anymore and I usually get a really sweet HD picture from nhl.com but instances like this really screw me.

Getting DirectTV sucks because you are forced to receive the amerikan feed unless it's two canadian teams.
