We're out of all the cheap crap, though! I don't want to waste the expensive liquor.
I wonder what we're going to do with 40 bottles of this stuff. Party, maybe. We have poor friends so they won't mind crappy beer! lol
being quite impoverished myself, I just buy crappy vodka and mix it like 3-1 with sprite. Absolut is actually just about the best mixer I've had with sprite, and it's quite cheap as well.

I just can't do crap beer. I don't like sounding like a beer snob. But I totally am.
NewCastle is my beer of choice when I'm out of choice beer. It's not offensivley bad, but it's not good either. I wouldn't actually drink it by itself, but after a few drinks it's not terrible.
And I mainly drink liquor anymore because I always end up with something ****** and expensive unless I go to the bar.
I wonder how much money I'd save if I could stomach Coors instead of buying microbrews...
After we got married (husband STILL unemployed) we were trying to spend less money and TRIED to not drink beer.
Lasted about a week
Oh, some good news on the my-husband-is-lazy-with-no-job-so-i-make-the-money-AND-the-sandwiches front! He got a THIRD interview with this company. There can't be that many people left after two cuts and two interviews, yeah? Plus, when they scheduled his third and final interview they sent an agenda. It's a freaking 3+ hour long interview! With all these separate meetings and interviews and a presentation he has to do.
How many people are they going to waste that much time with? We're hoping he's one of 3-5 people left contending for this job

Everybody can stomach coors. It doesn't have any taste, but its not offensive, per se. It's not like drinking corona or something.

I can't stomach Coors. For some reason (that has not been replicated in others) I think the cheap light lagers have a bubblegum after taste and it grosses me out.

I can drink pretty much anything but tequila or corona. Not that I'll enjoy it, but I can man up and just make it happen.
And there are lots of good clear beers, although theyr'e usually nasty and fruity.
I HATE fruit in my beer. Or fruit flavored beer. ICK.
I don't like IPA's. And the only pale ale I really enjoy on a regular basis is Upslope. But other than that I pretty much just stick to stouts and porters.
Wheat beers are OKAY if there's not a better option, in my opinion. But I think Belgian Wheats taste like water you use to cook hotdogs.
I'm only a little picky with beer....
OH I guess the closest I get to enjoying beer you can see through is the occasional amber

I never got why people like IPA's. I'll ask AB sometime, since he happens to be an IPA fan.
The problem with a lot of stouts and porters to me is that they insist on the coffee taste. (I hate coffee). I'll usually roll with either a brown or dark ale, as they have a lot of the sweet flavors of the darker beers, without out all of the coffee taste.
