Stars

When was the last time a Kings goaltender got a shutout and not named one of the 3 stars?

Center Ice cuts out before the three stars are named.

I assumes the three stars would be Brown, Stoll, and Quick. Sounds like it didn't go that way.

Two things: 1) Quick wasn't really challenged that much even though he did have at least a couple of really nice saves in there; 2) No one is surprised anymore when he has a strong game. But they are surprised when the Kings explode for a 4-goal windfall and tonight's 3 star selection reflects that.

Granted but he normally has to stand on his head to get a shutout. Its nice to see his teammates earn all three instead of Quick getting it by default.

True. To be honest, Quick should have about 30 stars this season already.

i don't care if mitchell had a goal and assist. a shutout is a shutout. then again he has so many probably need to give it to the other guys

Perhaps Quick's shutouts will be so commonplace in the future that they will HAVE TO give stars to the other players just to stop being redundant?

7 shutouts. Think about that for a minute...the guy is really incredible.

A big payday is coming for Mr. Quick, that is for damn sure.
