Players can play up to ten games after being waived before they get sent down.

You can play 10 games in the NHL after you are waived.

Rims just said there's a calming influence with Sanford in the net....meaning. when who is NOT in the net? Next trade must be for a denetmunderinder.

I tuned in to FSOH at puck drop, nothing about trades, but they do like JJ...

As for the game, Sanford looks like a real goal tender out there, very confident and experienced.

Unfortunately, we wont be getting a starting goalie by trade, according to AP.

Trades, rumors, etc. were discussed during the CBJ pre-game show.

Only one segment was dedicated to that. The pre-game show had a long segment about trades, rumors, etc.

To be expected..., he's the only star the CBJ have ever had but hopefully for the future not the last.

Gotta give credit to Russell, he has been playing angry today. Hitting Malkin and Niskanen .

Maybe I'm the only one here but I like Ryan Russells game, could think of other candidates to be waived before him..

My only concern is his health status but yeah, I'd like to see him in a tandem with an up and coming talented young goalie.. he would be a great mentor and stabilizing presence..

Sanford is so much better than Mason. I really hope we resign this guy.
