It is only a matter of time before they cancel the rest of season.

I have a feeling they will send a memo to the NHLPa about 3 weeks before they are considering that, and telling them "The season will be called off on so and so of What ever month" to give them an idea.

i fully expect a meeting to coincide with a possible announcement being "leaked"

They should make this a permanent move. The game is a waste. Give them more holiday time at Christmas to spend with their wives and/or girlfriends.

That should signal the end of any hope for a season.

It was never really a game, more of a show.

The World Cup were all-star games and can be for everyone, perhaps every second year. To make it happen, here's a suggestion: For all those great players who are not from the big 7 hockey nations, have an 8th team that puts together all the others, all playing with the same colour jersey but with a patch or symbol of their home country.

It's not what it looks like, he was just trying to help it jump over the fence....
