If you watched the video, at least four them were intentional.

No, but they simply stood like pylons. Literally. I guess it was a some sort of a protest against the coach.

I thought I had seen just about everything you could see in hockey, but I have never seen anything like that before. It was almost funny that a couple of times Barys players had a hard time getting the puck in the net against their statue-like opponents.

Oh...! It's bad to see this in the MHL. That make the league a little bit not serious...

Anyway, to change the subject, I've watch a couple of 1996 guys and 1995, and I want your opinion.

Anton Ugolinikov is not really good, Andrei Dergunov is average, Ivan Igumnov is normal, Opalev can be good sometimes, Silaev is really good but small, Pavel Poryadin have a lot of points but when I was him he was not special, Kraskovsky is big and can make play but not exeptionnal, Vovchenko, Kuzmenko and Boltanov are good, I really like them.

Others a didnt see yet that I want: Semyon Koshelev, Konstantin Kuznetsov, Yegor Korshkov, Ilya Klyauzov, Artem Osipov, Dmitri Srednev and Arkhip Nekolenko.

For the 1995 guys, I really liked (like, REALLY) Okulov, Shakvorostov, Mokshantsev.
I also liked Mamin, Yastrebkov, Galeev, Setdikov.

What about Golyshev, Sharov, Varfolomeev, Morozov, Rudenkov.. ?

Thanks !!

Riga has started the season exceptionally well, despite bleeding players to North America again...

@Felix Perreault

Do you mean this Semyon Koshelev? I dont follow him, but according to stats he has played 13 VHL games (3+6). VHL games should be on youtube.

Nikita Setdikov plays VHL (and maybe MHL) as well. Toros Neftekamsk, farm team of Salavat Yulaev Ufa.

It is VHL youtube channel, all games from all arenas are there (bad quality sometimes, depends on arena). It seems the games are here as well

Efimov was saying they are gonna build the team based on an MHL club and just fortify some positions! Can that be Red Army?

I just want other opinion about some young players who play in the MHL. From what I've heard, Pavel Karnaukhov and Alexei Platonov look really strong has 16 years old in the MHL and Alexander Zhebelev, but where Zhebelev play this year? He's not good enough to play for HC MVD or its because this team is stack?

I watched like 3 games of Red Army (Karnaukhov) and he's really strong. Big, fast, soft hands ... Seems like a first rounder (early I know) in 2015. He's making points and it's not because he's playing with good people, he creates his own chances and opportunities. Thats all I can say for now.

Very impressed with the MHL players who were sent to the SS. They were outshot but definitely out played the OHL team. Just the contrast btw skill and smarts of Russia and Physical brute of OHL was a treat to see. Most of the OHL squad is NHL drafted future stars that people cant shut up around here about... Those MHL guys who no one ever heard of spanked them... Thing is people laugh at the KHL, but it is getting stocked with skilled guys no one ever hears about in NA and the NHL gets stocked with these boring players that you never will here enough about (obviously a few exceptions)... The MHL is progressively getting better from what I have seen.

Fetisov said, the best thing about the inception of the KHL was the MHL. He is right, the development of young players is off the charts. Ever since the birth years subsequent to 1988, there has been an increase in the quantity of skilled players at the junior age... Guys like Maslov, Rudenkov, Butuzov, Rafikov, Tkachev, very good products of MHL who are proving that top feed from MHL is no worse than top feed from OHL, even after many top players are picked off by the CHL..

Good results for MHL. Even these guys showed well at the u-19 WJAC

We shouldn't judge the success of MHL on couple of semi-serious semi-international games. We'll see if any of those names will be able to make is as pro at KHL level. Not enough success stories as of now.

Thx? I am too lazy as well. So, VHL is here for young players who are too good for MHL but not ready for KHL now. That is a reason why KHL created VHL (+ changed rules of youth players last summer I believe)
