Does anyone truly believe that Hensick is a first round pick??

Seems to me there is little chance of him going in the first round.

Like some of your other draft positions.....

Its just MO, but I would take out Mior, Gawlick, Hensick, Levasseur, and Paquet.

I would put in Blunden, Madsen, McNeill, Skille, and Trukhno.

Bump up Bourret, Setoguchi.

Bump down Kindl, Cogliano, Lashoff(Primarily bc he has played only one game)

Other than that 25 of your 30 were also in my top 30. Nice work.

I want to add a sleeper to the draft, Jason Bailey. This is a good character kid that plays with incredible passion, heaert and desire. Underated player that can really skate. Better than average hands and TOUGH!.

Make it top 75 and slide Evan Brophey of Belleville in there. He's putting up great stats and is a big guy. Shimmy in Morten Madsen also. Thoughts on Cal O'Reilly and Matt D'Agostini? lol, Tom Gorowsky and Paul Statsny who opted out last year. Oh, Tom Pyatt and MA Gragnani. JK just giving some guys to make a top 85.

What do you think of F-Dom Maiani of Ohio State(NCAA) and D-Sasha Pokulok of Cornell(NCAA)?

Yeah my friend Urged me to put in Madsen but that was late in the list and I figured I would go with a guy i've seen before like Lawrence. God I saw Ohio State earlier this year and really liked Fritsche but I didn't ntoice Dom Maiani .... never seen Cornell play....

Paul Statsny I can help you with though Saw him in the USHL all star game last year and twice live this year vs Wisconsin. He has alot of speed, and great hands, really like his shot, but he seems one step behind at this moment and alot of it is just projection. He has the tools but he looks like a true freshman out there this year and looks like it well take him a couple years to truley take control of the NCAA game.
Not saying that's really bad, but he doesn't look like a 2nd round talent I thought he was last year....but it was only two games... mabey a third rounder?

Tommy Pyatt will be a good 2nd or 3rd round pick. He really, really reminds me of Justin Williams. One of the friggin smartest players in the OHL.

Sharky I'm not too sure where you're getting those heights/weights from, but I can tell you that Brule is 5'1'' 180 and Crosby is 5'10'' 192.

Pokulok should get drafted this time around, he's playing on the top pairing with Charile Cook and in 2 games has done well from what I've heard. Cornell does offer all of their games on webcast for 5 bucks a game. I will get to see Cornell 2-3 times this year and I follow the team closely as fan of the big red.

Another guy I'd add is Steve Birnstill, who looked impressive last year, solid all round defensemen, imo. Havent' seen him yet this year though. I have seen Paul Statsny twice so far, and while I really liked what I saw from him in one game in the USHL, I wasn't overly impressed with him so far at DU. Still think very highly of him though.

ryan wilson, st. Mike's

It amazes me that you guys overlook Ryan Wilson. The guy is a tough defensemen who is an average skater and has great size. He put up good stats last season (better than Staal), this season and played well for the U-18 team this summer. It is pretty tough to rate Parent ahead of him at this point. Also it is good to see that veryone is jumping on the Alexandre Vincent and Carey Price bandwagon now after slamming me for projecting them so high last year. IIn Price's case I think that you have to put a season of work ahead of one tournament (the U-17s). Also, I got slammed for ranking Bourret and Aubin (father's an ex-NHLer) of Lewiston so high last year when they had some of the best stats for 05 eligibles in the CHL. I think Blair Jones is the next sleeper to rise up the charts. He and Wilson are ones to watch.

Obviously it's only their OHL scouts opinion, but McKeens has Wilson in the Free Falling category given his lack of improvement in his skating, which they feel will really hold him back. They see him as dependable, but project him as a more of a career minor leaguer unless his skating improves. They dropped him based on the fact it hasn't improved over the last year. They also label him 'chronoically plain'. He is now #91 in their top 100 (was #49 in their first ranking).

Jones moved up to #66 after not cracking the initial top 75.

I think you should consider M-A Gragnani in the first 75 even if he should pick up his physical game. The kid is still young and growing he is getting better by the game. Had a terrific game on monday against Rimouski. Very defensive, some big rushes offensively. According to some scouts if he keeps improving he will make third round or even better.
