This has to be the most self-deprecating fanbase in the league. I have wandered other team's boards after losses and never seen anything to the degree of what happens here....people just absolutely bashing the team as if every single game should be won.
If Lou is going to make a trade for someone say a D or a centerman that can take faceoffs who is getting traded. Jofferson or carter ?
Ryan Carter has absolutely zero trade value.

And your prediction could prove correct. No need to repeat it though, for that is not what I was responding to.
You made a direct corelation between the last two games and what will transpire come April. I see no connection, whatsoever. Nothing more than that.

I don't see a reason to be okay with today's loss. It was pretty pathetic.
Trading Josefson for a faceoff specialist would be a big mistake IMO. Zajac could play on the second line with Elias and Sykora. Move Clarkie to the 4th line with Josefson and Carter, then you have a 4th line you can play more than 2 minutes a game.
Zid moving in down low caused the coverage breakdown leading to the Parise goal but somehow he didn't do anything? LOL. He did exactly what he was supposed to do - creativity on the PP and made 3 stellar long passes tape to tape coming out of our end.
Larsson **** his pants repeatedly and we paid for it.
Bernier looked lost several times and despite the 3rd line success, he was a spectator today.
Elias needs to snap out of it - did he even have a scoring chance? He slid the puck to Sykora in the 1st period and other than that I can't think of a shooting chance he had. Kovy and Parise at least had chances, just no luck with rebounds or getting the shot up when the goalie was down.
Clarkson looked like he hit his head before the game. Wandering around like a lost puppy at times and just not making good decisions away from the puck.
Two shots go through Salvador that would have been blocked if we shot them - oh well, if puck luck ain't with you, it must be against you I suppose.
Play better tomorrow boys. I'll let the 800 suicide line handle the doomsdayers.

With 24 goals you don't put anyone on the fourth line.....
Well if Lou is going after someone there will be picks involved you know that. If Lou makes a move by tomorrow to get us a centerman that can win faceoffs dont expect zajac back

This should have been a win. If the Devils lose tomorrow, that will be 3 straight losses.
Then they have away games against Boston and the Capitals back to back. This can easily turn into a 5 game losing streak.
There is a reason to get pissed about losing games you should win. Has nothing to do with self-deprication (which does happen plenty here I do admit).
Remember when Zach used to be able to lift the puck top shelf into the net? How come he doesn't do that anymore? Serious question.
yeah he had that top shelf shot, especially on his backhand (remember the OT winner against Montreal)
this season he seems to just "push" the puck on the ice and hope's it goes in

He may get a center; we'll see. And yes, futures would be involved, no doubt.

Either way, I'm not worried about Zajac not coming back, not worried about potential future losses vs the Caps and other teams and a prolonged losing streak, nor other brands of fear and loathing.
Which is why I do not fit in on this thread. I do not react to adversity (if losing a couple of hockey games, as just a fan no less, is "adversity" ) in the emo mode popular around here currently.

Didn't Bernier have that pass to Sykora for his goal?
