Lots of people yet again leaving The Rock upset/mad and saying things like never coming back to see such a bad effort again.
I'm sure the 'weekend crowd' would be ****ed cause the Devils do this all the time on the weekend afternoon games. Hell I'm starting to wonder if it's a myth that this team is actually thirteen over, since they're 10-10-1 in games I've gone to this year, and I've missed watching a lot of Tuesday games where they win

Today was bad enough, but two weeks when it's a Sunday NIGHT game it's going to be doubly annoying having to wait till 10:30 for the train out of Newark Broad, assuming the game doesn't go to a shootout and I don't miss the light rail, keeping me in Newark till 11:30. I would just peace out of that game but I probably won't be able to make the game on the 8th, so don't want to miss two division games that week.

Just got back from the game. Frustrating as it seemed they had a lot of good scoring chances. Love how Tampa gets 2 goals on 4 shots. Hope they make up for it tomorrow.

Interesting observation. I think it is only 33% though.

The Ya Know era has left a bad taste. Time to get rid of that **** and get behind the team.

It's a combination of everything, the contract, the two months of nonsense because of the contract, and the Ya Know era. I actually thought we as a fanbase were past getting on Kovy for every little thing...then again I thought the Devils as a team were past performances like today.

So if Larsson had an assist today he would have had a good game too? Ok, I forgot points are all that matter. I saw him twice throw the puck blindly to nobody cross ice breaking out, leave the cycle position to go in front of the net, and several other mistakes away from the puck on d coverage, but sure, he had a nice pass through a defender that Sykora found and converted.

I look with my eyes, not my heart. Sorry.

Points are all that matter! I'm surprised at you. I thought you knew better.

If Larsson had and assist he would be a star of the game.

Ehh, I disagree. Too much passing not enough shooting. Assists? Anyone can get assists, hell Oduya can get assists..

Wait, speaking of Oduya..I read earlier He is likely to be traded by the Jets, if we can somehow convince them to take Kovalchuk back(to that franchise) maybe they'd be interested in a Oduya, Cormier and a pick(probably a 2nd) for Kovalchuk, that would be great, get a veto on the trade, that would be most ideal.

Then with KHL season coming to an end I'm sure we can convince Bergfors to come back, he's with his 6th club(combining NHL and KHL) in the last two years, I'm sure he'd like to reach lap two, make a second stint in New Jersey.

I'm sure Lou thought of this but decided to blow up the future and acquire that useless Zidlickme guy instead.

Kovalchuk is the best player on the ice every night. It's not his fault other players can't handle his crisp passes. He leads the team in points you know. He has size and skill other players dream of having. If he played half speed he would still be the best player on the ice.

I would like to see a game where Kovy and Zach are playing on differents lines, and no I`m not saying that because we lost today, just curious.

Me too. Parise slows Kovalchuk down.

As long as he's not scoring goals he's going to get booed.

Not at all. Parise is a hard worker and all but he just doesn't have the skill to play with Kovalchuk.

Parise is like that kid in school that has to bust his ass to get a C and Kovalchuk is that kid that gets an A without trying.

Larsson was absolutely terrible today. Coming back from short term injury is no excuse to play that poorly. A well placed cone would have played better defense.

Fishing Jim? Cause your hooks are kind of dull, and you don't seem to be catching much.

It was quite clever of him for sure.

If I actually ever did bust my ass in school, I would have been valedictorian in my high school. But I chose to coast in high school to nothing but B's and C's.
