I'm hoping for either nothing or a couple forwards. Really, do nothing would be preferable because anything else would probably be kneejerk.

Nothing, because we are too depleted as it is. We can't be trying to integrate new players right now when we have to integrate players already to cover for injuries.

God that would be scary. That would break my heart, **** nash if pavelski has to go for him. I don't think nash is significantly better than pavs. his only real benefit is he is significantly larger.

Clowe, Demers, Sexsmith and 1st is the extent I'd go.

If DW can manage to get Nash without giving up any of the following...
Thornton, Marleau, Boyle, Burns, Vlasic, Pavelski, Couture
Then I'd be all for it. I just don't see CBJ taking any sort of package built around other pieces.

Do nothing. I will be seriously upset if we trade our #1 pick for a rental.

Defenseman. Getting better on the back end will be much, much more effective than Nash or a forward. Defense has cost us more games than anything else.

The asking price for Nash seems way to high. Sharks would be better served getting someone like Umberger, Grabovski, or JVR even. I'm afraid I do see DW trading our first one way or the other.

I'd like David Jones from Colorado, also Garrison is on the block he's got a booming shot and might be a real force with Burns. I'd go after those two and see if Florida wants Clowe. Colorado wants a Dman. I don't know if Garrison would be worth trading Demers but we have to trade a contract for whomever we get back so.
Just an opinion.

I really want Ott, I know he's not liked but I think he would be a great asset come playoff time.

Then waive one of Handzus or Mitchell. Hell, throw them in the original trade.

Which he will assume is a washing machine, but it will be this instead:
Still a good deal though.

I will quit the Sharks fandom for as long as Ott is on this team. That is not a joke,
you can take that to the bank.
