We have two very important pieces of our team missing in Murray and Havlat. Problem is that by the time we get them back it may be too late for us with regard to our playoff race.

I feel that we can still be a pretty good team in the playoffs with the entire roster healthy, assuming we make the playoffs. That though right now is a big big question.

This is ****ing ridiculous. Every single thing on this roadtrip that could have gone wrong went wrong. I mean, we gave up TWO first goals of the season in the same game, and it's February.

Just to respond to your last post in the GDT, I understand he has been bad this season but he is 23 years old. I'd rather show patience to talented young d-men than ship them off. When the apocalypse comes in 2014 for this team, Demers is one of the guys they can turn to for a competing team after that.

As frustrated as I am as a newer (since 2010) Shark fan, I cant even begin to imagine the frustration and disappointment you guys feel being life long Shark fans.

I am just taking heart in the fact that as a Red Sox fan (starting from 1999) I got to see us win the World Series for the first time since 1918 in 2004. Hoping the Sharks can still turn it around and win the next few games to get us back on track towards that.

It was hard in 2007 when the Ducks, a team that entered the league after the Sharks, and one of their bigger rivals.. took home the Stanley Cup.

That hurt.

If we don't win the division, I hope we get the Wings. We've played them well. I have faith we can pull of the upset.

So.... wtf happened to Koala? I mean is there any video of it or anything? How does a player from the other team hit a coach with his stick? Is anyone else confused and skeptical?

Since 91, bro. Seen 2 8th seed Sharks teams and a 7th seed win first round series long before the 12 year olds on these boards were even born. Some of those teams were much worse than todays, but always stood up for each other and played with heart.

I miss those teams.

I've been a fan of this team since 93. It's why I have lots of gray hair at the age of 29

In the last 20 yrs San Jose has actually been one of the most successful franchises. The Sharks have only missed the playoffs 5 times. That's pretty damn good compared to the other expansion teams within that time frame.
