While were idle tomorrow a big line up of matchups affecting us.
Columbus @ Phoenix - Go Jackets
Pittsburgh @ Colorado - Go Pens
Anaheim @ LA - Ducks in regulation i guess..Although there getting too close for comfort
St Louis @ San Jose - Go Blues
I went through the other teams in the race's "Around the League" threads to see what they were saying after tonight. When I thought about looking at Minnesota's thread I just though, why bother?
I went to Calgary's last because I thought it would be the most entertaining to read and they have way less going on on their board than I thought they would. It was fun to see Anaheim, San Jose, LA, and Colorado fans squirm after our win.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that does that.

Most of their fans stay on CalgaryPuck (or at least they use to, would assume it hasn't changed). I have no idea how their board has more posts than this one does.
Yep tommorow is a huge game. We're in a playoff spot by 3 points but I still think it's a must win. Have a feeling Kipper may steal the game for the Flames though.
Imagine if we win and all the teams near us lose? We're suddenly ahead of San Jose and tied with Phoenix for the division lead.
Brian Boucher had 146 straight spanning 7 games, including 5 shutouts and 2 ties. Thats likely the modern day record, I know it is for shutouts (NHL seperates goalie stats from the early league when there was only backward passing).
It is and has always been for the Division win and tonight we finally tie the lead.. In January the Sharks were up by 15 points but now it's a different ball game..
Hawks win so Stars stay 4 points back of them, though Dallas still with a game in hand.
Avs shut out Minnesota. Wild shut out in back to back home games, pretty much done for them. Stars have a game in hand on the Avs, with 3 points separating them.
I really hope Gulutzan resists the urge to keep kari going, and I hope Bachman gets the start vs Vancouver.
Give Kari 3 days rest for the big Sharks game at home on Thursday.
Im confident Bachs could deliver us a good game against the nucks, who knows he may get us to OT..
Even though all games are important, Vanouver away is one we can "afford to lose" so use the game rest up kari and have him fresh and ready for San Jose and Anaheim at home which are must win.

we have 16 games left, if we win 9 of them I think we have it. 9-7 sounds attainable for the Stars, but easier said than done. They just have to keep on picking up points where they are available..

Not with how Kari played in Vancouver last time. We need the points, have to ice the best possible lineup every night.
I kind of thought Bachman should've played against Edmonton. But after seeing our effort level, I'm glad he didn't.
When there was 18 games left, winning 11 (since we have the tiebreaker) would get us in the playoffs. I think we should play Bachman at Vancouver. We do not do well in back to back games. Would like to give Kari a rest so he will be ready for San Jose!

Not really expecting to win vs Van, but having Kari in net gives us a chance vs SJ and that's a more valuable win than vs Van.
