Trade Deadline Predictions

Title is self-explanatory....

1) Rick Nash will not MOVE tomorrow.

2) After general managers realize Nash's price is over the moon high, more teams will start to aggressively pursue Dustin Brown with the Vancouver Canucks coming out on top. Canucks may be one of the busiest teams tomorrow as I'm also predicting they will acquire Colby Armstrong.

3) The Oilers, even though they've publicly stated they will be quiet tomorrow, will move Magnus Paajarvi. I'll go out on a limb and say the Predators acquire him in exchange for netminder Chet Pickard.

4)Travis Moen will be sent to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

5) Chris Campoli,in a depth move, will be sent the New York Rangers way.

6) David Jones to Boston, with possibly Zach Hamill + going the other way.

7) Carolina and Dallas will become trade partners by sending Jaro Spacek to Dallas.

More to come....thoughts/your predictions encouraged.

I predict that there will be trade in which one team will receive a prospect and draft pick in exchange for a current roster player

Is this the SAME Zach Hamill guy that was on waivers 2 weeks ago that the Avs could have dumped Kevin "I'm a good NHL player" Porter for and picked up for free and still didn't or are you talking about a whole different guy??

I'd be really looking forward to the "+" part of your trade proposal if it is indeed the same guy, considering David Jones should be on a lot of teams list come 3:00pm tomorrow.

If Jones is going to Boston. it will not be for a guy who passed waivers. Hamill is a bust.
I predict Getzlaf to the Leafs.

2. Nash will NOT be traded

3. Andrei Kostitsyn is traded to Nashville for their 1st

4. In a surprise twist, Scott Gomez is a Montreal Canadien @ 3:00 PM tomorrow

5. Jon Bernier (+) is traded to Philadelphia for van Riemsdyk

Pickard is a backup in the ECHL....

What about MPS for Lindback?

David Jones for a bust who has passed waivers twice, it'd be the happiest day of my life.

Nash will move to the Sharks
Brown will NOT be traded
Ott will NOT be traded
Leafs will get a fringe player and probably lose a pick in the process
The canucks will get TWO players
One unexpected team will make a BIG trade

lol keep dreaming...Yes, Florida wants to make the playoffs and hope not to get embarrassed so bad that they'll trade the 3rd overall pick from last year's draft for Tomas Plekanec.

Did Dale Tallon end up getting that full frontal labotomy??
