Devils D are finding it difficult to do their typical stand-in-the-way-whilst-Marty-plays-the-puck technique vs Hagelin's speed on the forecheck.

7 minutes for Hag that period even with a 2 minute minor thrown in.

Rupp was a great signing. He's going to show it in the playoffs.

Which was that? Didn't really notice it, might have been looking at the GDT when that happened.

Though, it's only one call, and to be honest, I'd rather stay 5-on-5 against the Devils.

Gabby had a great move there at the end of the period on Brodeur.

Yet the Devils score nothing. And he says their stars are doing what they always do, create. Simply laughable. I threw a drink on that guy once. He had a stupid look on his face cause he knew if he flinched i was gonna break a chair over his nose. Another P****.

I think it was Poni on Staal behind the net. Maybe Zubrus.

4-4 shots is the lowest two team total I have seen in a long, long time.

Aside from Marty's E8 and throwing error, the only way we've been able to get sustained pressure is via speed through the neutral zone and crisp onside entrance passes.

Dump and chance is not going to work on this team.

I bet the best things Rupp does for this team are things we dont even see. I'm sure his presence in the room and knowing what to say and when to say something are his best feature

They've been alright. Some subtle picks by the Devils but not sure if they were call worthy.

Rangers had a lot of jump that period and it was pretty exciting even though there were only 8 shots.

Shaggy playing some great hockey overall might also have something to do with it. He's definitely the surprise callup of the season.

Carl Hagelin is a stud. He's impressing me much more than Callahan did in his rookie season.

Haha simply the best nick name I've seen for Hags for far.

Glad he's been playing great, it's amazing how seamless his transition has been.
