Well this has been the game plan for Guy Boucher's team:

1. Pass to Stamkos
2. Only shoot if Stamkos is not on the ice
3. Kill James Bond

Well Montreal is almost certainly winning now. I think it's safe to put the Oilers in 29th place.

Now lets just hope a team behind us wins the draft lottery.

Bruins leave Chara, Bergeron and Thomas in Boston rather than play them the final two games. Hard to imagine Caps fans are very pleased with the Bruins mailing it in in their final game against the Sabres since they are in a dog fight for that final playoff spot.

NYR/PIT right now. Good hockey at such a high level is always fun to watch. This is a rough and tumble game, 2-1 Penguins. Malkin is insanely dominant every time he sees the ice, what a scary player.

Isles win. Oilers at worst will get the #4 pick in the draft.

Indeed. Sabres lose and Caps win and the 8 spots in the East are locked up. All that matters now is seeding. I think if Florida loses and the Caps win in their final games they switch spots. Ottawa can move down to 8th too I think.

Habs lose in the SO. They have 76 points with 1 game left.

Now that Florida has clinched a playoff spot the Leafs are the only club that hasn't made the playoffs at least once since the lockout. Sad.

Lindy Ruff should be fired.

And hired by the Oilers, if not. Nelson.

So Tortz has come out called the Penguins organization arrogant and a bunch of whiners.

That's after Philly's coaches comments.

I can't ****ing wait for the playoffs.

Pens-Flyers is gonna be a freaking bloodbath and i'm really hoping for Rangers-Caps.
It would be interesting to see the roles reversed with the Rangers having all the pressure on them and the Caps being an underdog for a change.

Damn, i miss Oilers playoff hockey.

Looks good on them. They've been a pretender all year long and it's amazing that they kept it up for as long as they did. Can you imagine us losing the equivalent of James Neal and Brad Richards?? We'd be crippled.

Colorado eliminated, Sharks officially clinch a spot (LA and Phoenix clinched earlier in the night after Dallas was eliminated).

All 16 teams have now clinched spots, just the order to be determined now.

Must be nice to be a fan of those two teams. Play like crap for most of the year. Playoff spot. Profit.
