Now that we have AK. What are your updated line? Who's spot is he going to take?
What is next for the Preds?
Do they go get another veteran D man?
Surprise everyone and get a big fish like Nash/Roy?
Pick up a middle name player like Gabs in Toronto or Jones with the Avs?
I would like to see them come out of the blue and get Iggi out of Calgary.
My god, I would take this forward corps over the Forsberg/Kariya days. Much more grit and two-way play, and considering the ages possibly better offense.

definitely, we should all take a moment to savor this deadline (with another trade still possible), it may be a while before see it this good again!
So why are people talking about the K brothers playing together and what they could do if they in yalls opinion will not be playing on the same line?
I'm sure they'll be together at some point. But right now the SK-Fish-Erat line is playing very well and Legwand could use the kickstart that a (hopefully) motivated AK on his wing will bring.
Can't break up Wilson and Tootoo right now, nor can you break up the Fisher line. I expect AK to take Bourque's spot on Legwand's line and that is all.
Ok with the finalizing of the roster. I have 2 line combinations...one is what I think will happen in this game. The other is what I'd personally like to try.
This game:
SK - Fisher - Erat
Wilson - Legwand - Yip
Tootoo - Spaling - Hornqvist
Halischuk - Smith - Bourque
What I'd like to try soon:
Erat - Fisher - Wilson
SK - Legwand - AK
Tootoo - Smith - Hornqvist
Halischuk - Gaustad - Spaling

Reason: Well this game won't include AK obviously

Trotz seems to think the brothers should stay separate:
"No, no, not even crossed my mind," Trotz said. "I won't even do that. I don't think. I wouldn't break up the top line. It's gone too well. I told Sergei, 'Don't worry about your brother coming in and taking your spot or anything like that. The first line's going good. I'm not going to break that up."
I think those slotting in Smith at center are mistaken. I think the good news is that we actually are planning on keeping at center long-term. Further, we have the 3rd/4th line centers for the playoff run that can push him back out to the wing which will relax his responsibilities and put him back in the position to score more easily.
I would probably surround Gaustad with the more physical of the bottom 6 - Tootoo would be a natural fit to me.
This forward corps is so good. I don't even know where to start. I love the addition of AK and Gaustad. Tough players to move off the puck.
I think AK would benefit the most from being with Legwand. I wish Wilson could stay on that line, but I suspect we may slot Hornqvist in there with Wilson moving onto a line with Spaling/Smith (that line could score!)
In summary:
Erat - Fisher - SK
AK - Legwand - Hornqvist
Wilson - Spaling - Smith
Hali - Gaustad - Tootoo
Extras: Yip, McGrattan, Borque.
There is a ton of speed in that lineup. You can add players and move around lines depending on wanting scoring vs. defensive play. I think we see almost 4 constant rolling lines there with lots of specialty minutes to even things up.
