So far so good. Still a good time in hockey left. I would like to see how he plays off a good hit which we yet to have seen. He's been awesome tho, could easily fit bottom 6 defending so far.

Like someone said in the GDT, not missing Redden this game at all.

And people were insulting me for saying he'll be better than Marc "Look my name is" Staal.

Brian Lee is a rich man's Wade Redden

... he hits, he moves the puck well, he doesn't let players by him ... and regardless of that Roy goal, Lee took away the pass ... the exact thing a defenceman is taught to do. Gerber got beat on his own ...

Brian Lee is the real deal

So far so good. I'm not going to jump on a wagon as so far it's only 2 periods, but if I'm happy for him. Great debut

Yup, gotta say he looks much better than Redden out there, as of now. Actually plays like an elite defenseman!

He's looking good IMO. He's keeping it simple on the defensive side and jumping in on the offensive side when the play is developing. Its nice to see someone with a little foot speed on Defense. Keep it up kid!

Lee > Redden in many orders of magnitude. It's what I said this team needed for a while, someone young with plenty to prove rather than a vet who shows no effort and collects his weekly paycheck much to our chagrin.

Go Lee!

It has been just 40 minutes.

He has been very good though. He's shown he can play at this level. Definitely should get some more games and hopefully be given every chance to stay with the team when we're healthy.

Lee's nickname

The kids nickname is "The paperboy". Why, he couldn't grow a playoff beard for the 08-09 playoffs!! I got that from someone here in Binghamton

Told you we should have this kid in the line-up instead of hacks like Richardson taking up space. Very impresive. That tying goal aflie scored he started it from his own end by moving the puck out quicly.

There's no way they can send him down after this game. NO way.

If Lee is not chosen over Richardson, this would be an absolute travesty.

After watching the game, and seeing the postgame interview with Lee, it looks like he's one of those guys with "icewater in his veins". Calm, collected, good under pressure.

I like.

Probably the first real positive signs in awhile, not to mention the comeback.

At least we have 1 top end youngster.

If that wasn't an out of the ordinary performance for him, the floodgates are going to open on young Redden comparisons.

You have to admit, he was pretty good out there. I wonder if they are going to send him down for binghamton game tomorow night. It will be interesting to see what they do.
