Yzerman confirmed the conditions of the pick are that Commodore plays 15 games and the team makes the playoffs. No need to worry about that pick going anywhere.

for the record Commodore should work out fine with you guys,hopefully he can earn himself a contract

many of us on the Wings board thought he was acceptable as a bottom pairing guy if nothing spectacular when he played and that's a tough bunch to satisfy

the Wings just had too many defensemen after the Quincey trade plus wanting to bring Smith up a bit now too

I think this trade really was mostly about giving Commodore a chance to show what he can do for another team as his(limited to begin with) opportunity in Detroit continued to shrink,the Wings can be....unique like that at times

hope he does well for himself over in Tampa
