Sens have a prospect in top 5 of THN Future Watch. Who?

Brian Costello, who does Future Watch for the Hockey news, recently tweeted...

"Too early to say for sure, but someone from Wsh will be top 3 in Future Watch and someone from Ott top 5."

So who is it? Can't be Cowen based on how they have applied prospect versus player previously, so would it be Lehner, Zibanejad or Silfverberg?

Gut tells me Zibanejad given the Caps player is likely Kuznetsov, and they are probably basing much of it on the WJC, but Silfverberg's current hot streak might have vaulted him up the list.

Gotta be Silfverberg. It would be great for him to get some recognition, he deserves it.

Close between Zibby and Silfverberg. I think it's Zibby.

Silfverberg deserves it at this point.

Doubt it though.

Could be Mark Stone based on his WJC & great yr so far although he has cooled down a little but Silfverberg seems to be having a breakout yr. Nice to see so many Sens prospects doing so well.

It'll be Zib. He was arguably the most dangerous shooter in the tournament, led it in shots...powerful skating 6'2 200 forward that can shoot and one-time at a high NHL level.

Interesting wild card selection with Stone. Has a shot given his impact at the WJC, and the amount of weight they have placed on that tourney in past. He has, in a sense, become part of our top 4 in terms of prospects, I'd say.

Puempel, Noesen, Da Costa, Petersson, Prince, and perhaps Borowiecki make up the next tier based on my eye balling of it.

Zibane looks to me like a kid that is still growing, I wonder if he will get any taller before he hits camp next yr. And wouldn't that be an interesting line down the road.

Silfverberg - Zibanejad - Stone

Knowing THN it will be Stone, but none of Zibby, Stone or Silf would surprise me. I don't think any of them deserve to be top 5 though. Zibby and Silf I could both see in the top 10.

I'm not sure of there criteria 5 would be a bit high for any of them. Although I think we've got one of the best shooting prospects out there.

I picked Zibanejad... just with how he played in the gold medal WJC. He is a beast. He hits, he scores, he skates, he's offensive AND defensive.

I'm pretty excited to see both Zibanejad AND Silfverberg next year though! I would think it would be Zibanejad, but Silfverberg is up there too!

It should be Silfv. Kid's tearing up the SEL and is almost NHL ready. But it's probably Zibby.
