Keith Aulie
As a Lightning fan as well as a Leafs fan, I am sad to see Keith Aulie leave the Leafs but if I had to choose 1 team he would have to be on other than the Leafs, Lightning for sure. I am glad Aulie is finally going to have a solid chance at playing and I wish you all the best of luck with him.
Aulie - Hedman top pairing #BookIt

This was a good trade. Don't think Ashton was even worth that much.

After last night's game, I'm thinking....Is he better than Clark?
Hell yeah....I'm okay with it.
BTW.....is Clark really that much of a shot blocker or is he simply in the way a lot of the time?

Give him time. He'll pan out good.
If you guys care, Ashton had 1g 1a for the Marlies last night.

I believe he was referring to Clark. Correct me if I'm wrong.

He was on the ice for practice this morning, according to EE.

How would you define a shot block?

Intentionally being in the way. I'm not sure that pertains to him all the time.

Going to miss Ashton even though he didn't play a game, but Aulie is really what we need right now and will help a ton in the future.

I would assume so he can keep learning the system if we fail to make the playoffs or get bounced quickly.

It's definitely going to take some time, but I like what I see for the most part. Has many areas of his game he'll have to improve in, but managed +2 (team high) and a great fight in ~6 minutes of TOI tonight.

No doubter right there too. Controlled the entire fight, defended himself well, delivered punishment well. Takedown to Greening, but I've never really valued Takedowns. Hell, Burrows tackled Vincent Lecavalier once, no way would anyone consider that a win.

It's still not for sure... it'll depend on whether Brown is in or not for tonight (finger injury).

Leafs fans are really tough on their players
He didn't look like much, but I didn't see him make any mistakes to cost them either. Not quite sure what they expected out of a 20yo in his first NHL game. Especially when they were warned that he wasn't NHL ready.
