For anyone local, Sherman will be on 850 KOA in about 15 minutes. We all know what's going to say, but still might be worth a listen.

I think even if McGinn is unhappy to leave the Sharks, he'll warm up considering half the locker room is his age and will definitely help the transition.

Absolutly love the trade.

Winnik is terrible. He offers nothing offensively, cant fight and is not a big hitter. He does some nice things but he should have about 25 goals now with the amount of chances he has had this year. He wasn't going to be back anyways.

Galiardi has some potential but he just cannot stay healthy. I'd much rather sign McGinn as a RFA than Galiardi.

McGinn is perfect for this team. Him and Downie make us that much harder to play against.

Funny how the once Mueller-Duchene-Hedjuk was once our best line can potentially be our 3rd line.

Thank god, since that would be a joke at the AHL level at this point.

How many times did you see him play???

If Connolly is a nobody then Olver is one also. Exactly the same kind of players.

Connolly was a finalist for the Hobey Baker last year. He can play left wing or center and he is a guy that works hard. A nice addition.

Just imagine if Sacco really wanted to irritate teams he could throw out Lando-McGinn-Downie, wouldnt happen but that would be one hard line to play against

O'Reilly already does a pretty good job in that respect, too.

So apparently Galiardi was told by someone from San Jose that he would be treated with a little more respect in their organization. Hadn't heard that yet.

That was the only interesting part of the conversation.

I don't know anything about him so I won't judge about his potential but Porter won the Hobey Baker so I don't think that means anything

Winnik wasnt terrible. He is however a black hole in terms of offense but he brings along alot more to a team. He was tremendous on our PK. With ROB out it will be interesting to see if we can still maintain a good PK. Winnik was used improperly by a dumb coach but yo ucant fault the guy for that. When Sacco taps Winnik to go out there on a PP what yo uexpect him to say, " nah coach ill pass" Dont hate Winnik instead lets hate Sacco

So McGinn was the one who checked a player into the boards which led to the Sharks coach getting hit in the face with a stick. Guess he got the Ballard treatment.

It seems to me that we 'won' the trade in that we got the most value. Sharks basically overpaid a bit to get Instant PK. But there is no reason to believe it was a bad trade for either team.

Look forward to seeing McGinn with Avs. Perhaps even checking up on some OHL scores from time to time.

Best of luck to Winnik and Galiardi. They play hockey the right way and I guess it just wasn't meant to be with Avs.

Let's hope he does the same for the Avs

I guess it was in one of Galiardi's interviews today and they asked Sherman about it on the radio.

Hell, if Connolly contributes some scoring for the Monsters, he's more than worth it. If he actually makes it to the big show and isn't Kevin Porter 2.0, then that's just icing.

Sgarbossa better make it to the big show because that name would look awesome on a replica jersey.

Sacco gets hit with stick and is out for a couple games.

Oh sorry Joe. We are on a winning streak. Don't want to upset the chemistry. We'll get you back in when we lose a game. The Avs players win every game in the regular season, and playoffs, in one of the most dominant performances in NHL history.

Hmm...I'd like to read/see the interviews...just because Gally was one of my faves, still bittersweet about him leaving, but as I see it, McGinn is a good addition
