If we return to the form we had before the collapse, we still could. WEve one 3 of 4, thats good start. We've got a chance to win a 4 point game tomorrow against the Kings. Thursday we play against the worst team in the east. The chance is still there if the Wild can take it.

Yes, because I was so critical of the Zidlicky trade or this season.

I'm disappointed in the direction that these trades went because in reality, both of them accomplish one goal but we essentially swapped out a guy like Zidlicky for Foster. Schultz for Gilbert. and Zanon for Kampfer.

Yay! We can shoot the puck now at the net but...what about...uh...defense?

Maybe if we can get Koivu back, we can use him as a defenseman.

Schultz SUCKED at defense!!! He was essentially a cone that other players skated around.

Well hopefully Kampfer adds depth and isn't hurt too much.

I can't be too mad about this. Three guys that were not going to be part of the future are gone for some decent returns.

Careful, there, who knows how they'll play with the addition of noted sniper Brad Staubitz, and the subtraction of that dead weight Andrei Kostitsyn.

I used to tear into TSK quite a bit back in the day.

The worlds have just aligned on this trade for the two of us. I like the assets back for Zidlicky (draft picks!). I don't like the pieces back for Schultz and Zanon. Simple as that. I want to rebuild with our homegrown pieces, not others' castoffs.

I wonder if Kampfer will jump right in with the Wild or if he'll be sent to Houston?

That said, I don't doubt this team's ability to lose to the worst team in a conference.

TSK has actually been quite positive this year, overall.

I need to get working on my GDT for that game too. Should not be too hard, as most of the graphical assets I will be making use of I actually have on hand in some form rather than doing endless google searches like I did the Yogi Bear GDT.

Gonna be fun on the bun.

I don't understand how you feel that we got a lot softer? Falk will take Zanon's minutes (tougher). Gilbert will take Schultz's (probably a wash). Kampfer? We'll live with that.

This just dawned on me...

Man, I REALLY hope Boston goes deep in the playoffs this year. If so, Zanon's beard will be EPIC.

Not a wash with Gilbert and Schultz. Gilbert is like Zids. Schultz could actually take some contact.

The problem is, we were soft this year and we get an undersize defenseman back (Kampfer), a Zidlicky clone (Gilbert), and a guy that players terrible defense (Foster).

Foster is more than likely going to take Schultz's minutes (downgrade), Gilbert, Zidlicky (wash) and whoever is left Zanon (wash).

Not to mention most people want to get rid of Stoner.

People have been crying about a PMD, well...they have been neglecting the toughness part.

That's one of the biggest things we've been missing when Burns moved. Not only his ability to rush the puck but to throw some monster hits out there.

Speaking of monster hits, Kampfer better keep his head up.

Monster hits are overrated.

Not really. They can change the flow of the game and take out players. They can get the team excited and ramped up. They can also serve as a good reminder that you aren't going to back down.

Games have changed due to a good solid hit.

Not to mention, WE STILL HAVE NO ONE TO MOVE PEOPLE FROM OUR CREASE.

I'm going to get a sign to Backstrom that says; Open for Business.

And how many monster hits did Zanon provide?
