These are the games we should win, although Edmonton has been playing well the past couple. Please don't be asleep again in the 1st period, that's all I ask boys!
Don't let the Oiler record fool you. This is a very talented team up front. Their weakness is inconsistent goaltending (Dubnyk is either hot of cold) and defense (at least 2 NHL d men away from being competitive). This team can create offense and with that speed they can draw penalties and beat defensive schemes. If Phoenix has to chase the game and the defense starts to pinch we could be blown out very easily.
I actually think that Tambellini should be canned for his unwillingness to proactively address their D. It's embarrassingly awful. Chris Summers could quite literally step in and be in their top 3 today. Maybe top 2. I've seen AHL squads with a more solid backline.

The Coyotes need to beat the teams that they should beat. The Oilers record speaks for itself. If the Coyotes lose to Vancouver, it's one thing. If they lose to the Oil, it's another.

You are right. We play our system, we should win. If we chase the game though we could be in tough. I'm very impressed with their forward group. Extremely good. Their D is absolutely horrific though and our group needs to shred them early and often. Don't leave the game in the hands of Eberle and Hall. It'll be a frustrating night if we do.
Hemsky with hat-trick today!!!!!!!!!!
Be prepared for a shellacking Pheonix!
By the way, the Oilers have been very very good at home this year (same home record as the Coyotes actually)
