stupid new limits that are killing belarussian league
age limit, foreigner limit, salary cap, only-belarusian-goalie rule - you can expect a big decline of game level here
many experienced players have left for ukraine or any other countries, teams were made to release foreign goalies which had current contracts

Indeed, many good players will be forced out of the league. Just make BOL a junior already ffs. Ukrainian league clubs are feasting on these new rules.

It looks like there will be a completely new Red Army team in MHL this season compared to last.

yes, because unlike the Omsk, Magnitogorsk and Ufa's of the world, in CSKA system the goal is to build for the future and not win MHL by playing 20-22 y.o. without any future in the big leagues.

that's a weired question, noone knows whether it's gonna be an already existing team, that will have a few young CSKA guys playing or a fully stocked team by CSKA prospects.

Very sad story. Ryubin will pay out his whole contract for next year to his family. A good move on their part. Guy was a hero.

How much do VHL players get paid anyway? Anything resembling AHL salary? (about $40-100k yearly)

I don't think so...may be top ones get 10k a month, I would say that lower tier players get much less.
